    Media Ignoring Ron Paul

Ron Paul, Ron Paul, Ron Paul. Herman Cain can't hold a candle to Ron Paul. One article I read said Dr. Paul was the perennial, senile candidate. The media won't give him the time of day because they like the status quo, and Dr. Paul would die trying to restore the U.S. to greatness. You can't argue two things.

One, politicians love to demagogue, and make people afraid that if they don't vote for a specific candidate, that evil will overtake the world. Ron Paul does not resort to those tactics. He isn't shouting that the U.S. is nearly 15 Trillion in debt. You already know that.

And two, he doesn't waver on his message based on who he's speaking to at the moment like the other candidates. He doesn't make statements about electrified fences, and then say, "Oh, I'm sorry, that was just a joke." He doesn't support pro-life one term, and then pro-choice a second. His message doesn't change! It hasn't changed in 30 years, and if you dismiss him as unelectable, then you accept the status quo too.

You can expect Zero-bama to continue to erode your constitutional rights, drive up the debt, lead you to serfdom, and further destroy your prosperous future.

You can expect Romney to wish wash on issues, erode your second amendment rights, keep us fighting endless battles in oil rich deserts because that is the neo-con way of perpetuating your servitude to the elite oligarchy.

Donations to Ron Paul are an investment in your future, and the future of your children in a United States that's more like the one you grew up in, and not a socialist nanny state.Ron Paul 2012 Official Campaign Website

  3. Ron Paul would change the world. Unfortunately Ron Paul will never get into office. I'm sure this will spark someone into saying "that kind of thinking is why he won't get elected and things will never change", but let's face it, wish, pray, march, advertise, protest, gather support and whatever else you wanna do but in the end unless we physically remove these people from office ( which will never happen ) nothing will ever change. We can't compete with wall street and we can't compete with the media. Have fun wishful thinking

I am a huge fan of Ron Paul too but he won't get elected. There's a hilarious Daily Show clip on YouTube about the lack of media coverage he gets. I'm on my phone so I don't have the link but I urge you to watch. You'll crack up.

True patriots who truly love and respect our Founding Documents, who will whittle the federal gov't down to the originally intended levels are not desired to exist by those who wish to trade back and forth the power. The Dem's and Repub's want the co-monopoly and will keep it with the help of major media.

Unless you can get a TRUE conservative in office with TRUE conservatives in the senate, house and judiciary with a majority in each we are going to continue down this path toward being another Cuba, Greece, Venezuela or UK...

And yet we continue to rearrange the furniture rather than rebuilding the house, even if I have no idea (within current social constraints) how to rebuild our house.

Of note tho, the current regime is doing a great job tearing our country down so as to rebuild it in their statist-marxist ideal. You have to respect how bold they are, how ingenious/deceptive they are in getting it done, even if you despise it.

I don't think Cain can be elected either. The 9-9-9 plan is unfair for seniors on a fixed income. Like it or not I thinbk we'll be stuck with Romney and I'm concerned he can't beat zeroBama.

They will pay the same 9% sales tax as every one else. Also, if they have income aside from social security however large or small, total income would be taxed at the same rate. That means someone who makes say 100,000/yr will pay 9,000 in income tax. The lil' ol' lady that made a combined 10,000 will only pay 900 in income taxes.

Social security, if the only income, is not taxable so the lil' ol' lady on social security alone would NOT pay the 9% income tax. Are Your Social Security Benefits Taxable?

There are a myriad of attacks against Cain and his plan. This is good. It means it is something that would work, would make sense and scares the "bejesus" out of the big tax n spend lib's. Cain's plan would increase the total take for the gov't and yet even out, fairly, the load against income. All this from a conservative, self made black man. That is something the elite lib's cannot tolerate, hense a concerted effort to destroy him and anything about him.

Thank u tuts. People that say it is unfair haven't read his proposal. Just like the Fairtax.org. people only listen to what the 6pm news says. 9-9-9 is the definition of fair. I donated to Cain's campaign today. I do however prefer the fairtax.org. wish he would run on that platform.

According to an analysis of the plan by Roberton Williams, a senior fellow at the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, Seniors and the poor would get hit hard. For starters, about 30 million of the poorest households pay neither income taxes nor Social Security or Medicare levies. So for them, doing away with the payroll tax doesn’t save anything. And you are adding both a 9 percent sales tax and 9 percent income tax. So we know they will be worse off.

My elderly mother pays no income tax as SS benefits are her only income. So she doesn't get a benefit from reduction of payroll tax under the plan. But she would have to pay 9% federal sales tax which is a significant increase in expenses against her fixed income. Unless she is exempt from the sales tax she would get slammed with a 9% increase on new purchases. If this is true Cain can hang up his hat right now. He won't get a single senior to agree with this plan. No?

Ron Paul gets no press because the main stream media and republican political machine wants Romney. The only others that will get press is any candidate that threatens this. As for fixing the tax program even a fair tax will hit people not paying taxes now. Unless we have zero tax or a tax program full of exemptions, I don't know what the fix is. I thought the idea was to make the rate low and hip everyone with an equal percentage.

I like a lot of what Ron Paul says but he cannot get elected period, I am a senior and I like the 999 plan. What a waste of time the debates are, fighting between ourselves will only serve POS Obama. I am still wating to hear one single discussion on 2nd amendment by the GOP and I mean unabridged 2nd Amendment.
