It’s Not the ‘Right’ that Acts Like Nazis

    By Suzanne Olden / 10 April 2013 / 46 Comments

I started writing this about the MSNBC idiocy of “children belong to the community” and in my research to find the quote from Hitler’s Mein Kampf to show the parallels of where this idiocy originated I discovered some chilling things. The left has always liked to call conservatives the evil invective “Nazi” and compare George Bush to Hitler, but they ignore how closely their party, their media and their leader, Barack Obama, parrot that evil man’s writings.

It is said that those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it. I had read Mein Kampf in High School for a paper in a history class, and I remember that it repelled me. It is a long book, and that was long ago, so I had to do some research again. While the quote that is usually attributed to the book — “The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.” — isn’t actually in it; it is representative of Hitler’s attitude to the youth of Germany. He knew that if he could get them out from under the control of their parents, he could feed them any propaganda he chose and win a generation and there would be no resistance to his agenda. As he actually did way, “He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.”

There are other quotes that are even more frightening and speak volumes about the politics of the left today. Here are a few.

“The great masses of the people will more easily fall victim to a big lie than to a small one.” and “The broad masses of a population are more amenable to the appeal of rhetoric than to any other force.”

One big lie, tied into rhetoric, can defeat truth. I can’t tell you the number of times that I have shook my head in wonder about how people actually believe the words that come out of the mouths of the leaders of the left. Last week’s “we created 88,000 jobs and unemployment dropped” is a perfect example. Never mind that almost half a million people came off the unemployment rolls, not because they became employed but because their benefits ran out and they are still unemployed. It never ceases to amaze me. People don’t want truth, they want a fun sound bite that fits on a bumper sticker. No need to think that way.

“The [Nazi party] should not become a constable of public opinion, but must dominate it. It must not become a servant of the masses, but their master!”

Substitute Democratic Party and we have a winner. The Democrats have taken over the majority of the media in this country: NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, any major newspaper in any given city or town, the list goes on. The majority of voters we have become lazy. Truth, like math, is hard! And have we not seen that the arrogance of our elected officials is exactly the last part of that quote? The Nancy Pelosis and Harry Reids say that we need to “sit down and shut up” early in Obama’s first administration, and say out loud that thoughts the left will work with the right “ are laughable”, all while demanding that the right bend to their will all in the name of “bi-partisianship”. Is it any wonder that those on the right dig in their heels? When we give an inch, the left demands a mile and refuses to budge until they get it. Then they label the right as the people who wouldn’t budge.

    (Continued from page 1 ... )

“There must be no majority decisions, but only responsible persons … Surely every man will have advisers by his side, but the decision will be made by one man.”

Recently Obama stated that he wanted to pass legislation but he was “restrained by the Constitution”. News flash to Obama – we live in a Constitutional Republic, and our laws and our Courts are controlled by that document, not by you. Obama has shown that if he can’t stomp all over the Constitution, he is more than willing to make multiple end runs around it with Executive Orders. He needs to be told, in very loud language, that he is not in control. We, the People, are. Our elected officials are put in office by us, serve US and can be removed by us. We, the People, need to be reminded of this as well!

“The art of leadership . . . consists in consolidating the attention of the people against a single adversary and taking care that nothing will split up that attention . . . The leader of genius must have the ability to make different opponents appear as if they belonged to one category.”

Demonizing. That is what that quote is in one word. Demonizing. Are we on the right, not smeared as “rich old white men”, “heartless and uncompassionate”, “racist”, “greedy” and other invective?

Conservatives range from the Libertarian leaning to the far right, men, women, young and old, but we are all painted with the same brush. It’s much easier to spread lies and hate if you don’t have to see your “enemy” as a person.

The right isn’t the party that leans “Nazi”. Learn from history so the left doesn’t inflict it on us again.

It's not the right that's taking the lead in taking any our freedoms. It's not the right that's taking the lead in attack the US Constitution. It's not the right that's forcing their food choices on us. It's the progress left that's forcing their way of how we should live, eat and accept others around us. The have taken over the democrat party, the main stream media, the department of education, environmental special interests, labor unions, infiltrating the republican party. Their ideology is infiltrating many other ares as well. We it comes to forced acceptance, they have the market corned.
