If Obama and Hillary escape from this scandal with impunity the Republic of U.S. is over. The U.S. can survive dishonest and dishonorable politicians. What it can not survive is an immoral, uneducated, ignorant, and a really stupid electorate. It may survive in some form but it will never survive as the country that past generations passed down to us.

This generation will be cursed by their children and grandchildren for allowing the erosion of liberty and the ideals with which last generations entrusted us. Most of us didn't vote for Obama; but we permitted the conditions that allowed the erosion of American ideals and culture. When western civilization collapses this country and other western republics will fall into a thousand years of darkness.

The administration continues to accuse foes of politicizing Benghazi, and the committee tasked with "looking into it" have concluded that everyone EXCEPT Clinton is guilty of mismanagement, misconduct, etc. "'..systematic failures and leadership and management deficiencies at senior levels' of the State Department..." is how they put it. Obama calls GOP focus on Benghazi a 'sideshow'

If there were indeed such failures at the State Dept., then the blame lays squarely at the feet of the top manager of that dept - former SecState Clinton.

I continue to be amazed at how cabinet level departments can be run under this administration with demonstrated failures in leadership, yet the top figures in these departments continue to be shielded from responsibility. DOJ - systemic failures in leadership, yet Holder isn't responsible for the condition of his dept. - that blame falls on underlings. State Dept. - systemic failures in leadership, but the same conclusion: everyone EXCEPT the top leader in the dept. is to blame.

Sorry, the first responsibility of a leader is to lead.

If it is true that everyone under Clinton and Holder is guilty of dereliction of duty, then the blame for that dereliction rests with the head of the department. To quote from The Unit, Paradise Lost, "Allegations of severe misconduct - CRIMINAL conduct - have been brought against members of this command, and either you knew of these activities and looked the other way or you didn't know - either of which is culpable in a commander." While this is from a TV show, the outlook is nonetheless accurately portrayed. Either Holder and Clinton knew of the serious misconduct rampant within their departments and looked the other way, or they didn't know, either of which is culpable in a cabinet level department head. They are accountable for the misconduct of their respective departments, and as such, bear the blame and the punishment for that misconduct.

BO is a liar. He has lied about Benghazi since day 1. Those that tried to intervene have been dealt with. The truth will come to light. As will anything come of it, only time will tell. After 2014 if the elections prove advantageous for the Dems in Congress I fear he'll get away with in to the detriment of America.

Obama may very well get away with all of these offenses against the Constitution but impeachment might not be the best, although justified, solution. Can you possibly imagine saying President Biden? We go from a hard core Marxist to a really ridiculously, stupid liberal. And that also gives the idiot a platform to run for President.

Perhaps all we can really hope for is a seriously weakened Administration. In that way his agenda will not be very successful; and the idiots will not vote for Dems in the midterm. History has shown that they will not vote Republican; but they will just stay home if not inspired. Nixon's disgrace gave us Carter, the worst President in history, at least before Obama. Having a neutered Obama in office might be the best we can hope for.

history repeating as it followed suit to the previous administration and the administration before? yes. all 3 had attacks placed upon embassies and assets around the globe. that's a part of doing business in **** hole areas post cold war. doesnt even take into account the other issues we've had with the middle east previous to this.
