    If you don't know "who to shoot" in the upcoming conflict, you haven't been paying attention.
    The people will all gravitate to one side or another.
    Combatants = Us

    Non coms= those who don't want to get involved (initially)

    Federal troops = ie. the guys with guns who are all wearing one of the multitude of uniforms, and oh yeah, shooting at us!

    There will be plenty of thugs in and out of uniform that will be easily identifiable as targets but what about half of the of the people who voted in the last election? How do we identify those enemy targets?

    I really pray that this will never happen. However, I am afraid that it may be inevitable. The Civil War cost between 6 and 7 hundred thousand lives which with today's population would be about 6 million. This certainly would become a very sad episode in our history and most likely the end of the greatest nation that has ever existed.

    It wouldn't be a civil war with the north against the south. It would be urban against rural and suburban. It would be a conflict between the producers of wealth against the takers, and to some extent of the moral against the amoral. The flames of this culture war have fanned by the progressives for decades now. And I'm afraid that they about to get the results above and beyond what they have been encouraging.

    I think the biggest thing here isn't even a race issue, its an economic issue. I will align myself with those who have a job, care about values of this country and contribute to everyday life no matter what their race. However the people I would be fighting this war with just all happen to be white. I would hope like hell that we would align with morally sound people no matter what the race, but keep in mind trailer trash, thugs and pure scum alike will come in all shapes, sizes and colors. So I guess bottom line is link up with who you trust and you know will have your back and go from there.

The root cause of the Civil War came down to State and individual rights versus a centralized Federal Government.

    We're seeing the same scenario play out today, except now the central point for the "Feds" is that America should be "fair" to the poor, the illegal aliens, and the "sheeple". Remember the talk about "redistribution of wealth"? That really means take resources from the producers in society and give it to the non-producers, i.e. socialism. Under the Obama administration, we have increased the number of folks that are totally dependent on "big government" to take care of them from the cradle to the grave. The last figure I heard was around 49 MILLION citizens on food stamps?? What the hell, thats a solid Democrat voting block forever.

    In conclusion, yes; I see a war coming in the US. It won't be a conventional war in the sense that "Federal" troops will face off against "Patriot" troops, rather it will be a relatively low conflict insurgency. I foresee the "Feds" controlling the entire northeast and the west coast, while the southern and western states will secede or "opt out" of the Union. The Feds will try to economically strangle the insurgent states, but that will not be effective due to the much broader based economy that is now prevalent in those states.

    I think the military will be divided in their loyalties as well, with those from the insurgent states wanting to take care of their families and friends, while those with "Fed" loyalties will do the same for their people. In the end, blood will be spilled, and we'll have to pick up the pieces, brush off the Constitution, and start an new and better government.

    That's my thoughts, comments are welcome!
    Lol you've been indoctrinated. How's the liberal koolaid taste?

    This is why we won't have a civil war. Everyone is obese. Not overweight, obese. Fat. They spend all day drinking mountain dew, eating Doritos and playing Xbox 360. True, they are playing war games, but that doesn't help you one bit in real life. If the power were to be cut because of an uprising, everyone would sit in front of their tablets and smartphones playing games until the batteries died. After that, they would wander outside oblivious to the world because they are illiterate and don't even watch the news. The conversations would be about how far they got in what game before the batteries died. The police would tell them that "Islamic Terrorists" were running around shooting people and to hand over any weapons (so the terrorists don't get them) and go inside. And they would.

    Baaaaa baaaaaaaa!!!

    We came close in January when zero issued those worthless executive "orders." A hundred years ago, yes, blood would have spilled. But not today. The sheeple are fat and lazy.
