Pro-gun Republican wins vacated Democrat seat in Connecticut - National gun rights | Examiner.com

Make Bloomberg waste his money. I heard someone slip today talking about a Hillary Clinton and Andrew Cuomo ticket in 2016. Really?
Make these progressive liberal gun grabbers choke on their words.

In the real world this would never happen. But everyday you see unprecedented and underhanded dealings in the government. So not only is it possible, it wouldn't even be surprising. Worse yet, they might win. Would they win by votes? I doubt it. But it wouldn't be the first time it happened.

Honestly thinking here that we will probably never see another Republican president, not that they are much better than what we already have. It's pretty obvious that the elections are fixed. The Socialists control everything from the media to the indoctrination of the youth through the public school systems. When they pass all out amnesty on behalf of all the criminals that have been entering this country for decades, the game will be over for sure if not already.

I just pasted it on the Newtown Patch, those silly fools think it's not going to happen. I talk to many people every day in my business, I would say 50 to 1 say they want to put republicans into office next election.
If you would cut and paste that artical here also Sandy Hook Families in D.C.: 'We Are Committed' - Government - Newtown, CT Patch

The staus quo is a tough thing to change, Democrat or Republican... doesn't matter all that much, they have to keep the status quo going. The POTUS doesn't run the country, neither does the Congress. A hand in it all, sure, but run it... no. In today's world, wealth is power... for most of the world that wealth is fiat currency. Those who control the most currency, control who does what and when. Directly tied to the currency, is another form of it... the petrodollar. Oil is THE product for the world, even over food. Without oil, there are no gov'ts... there are no military adventures... there is no power. Even AmeriKa has its strings pulled in one direction or another, for reasons we regular folk, will probably never know. Hopey Changey, Touchey Feely Do-goodedness.... vote and vote often eh? Heh... we've been fooled. The illusion of power has been fed to us and we can't get enough. We relate freedom with comfort... if people are comfortable, they believe they're free. Most are okay with this, even if they know what I just said. True freedom, true liberty is harsh... it's tough and it requires vigilance and work. AmeriKa, the world has no desire for these things anymore... we have entertainment to fill our gaps. Don't forget the goodies from gov't.

Let's all just keep playing the game... see where it takes us. I promise you this, the people around you would give up their right to bear arms if their promised the right to vote... we'll continue being sold in to servitude. We may already be there...

A lot of people have never heard of the petrodollar, no surprise I guess. Mainstream media avoids this subject big time. If information like this were ever to become public knowledge, politicians would have an impossible task convincing Americans to support any more wars. Approval of wars is only possible as long as people remain ignorant of the driving force behind foreign policy. Our government wants you to think that we start wars to spread freedom and democracy.
Look back to '73 and Nixon promising Saudi Arabia that the US would protect Saudi Arabian oilfields from all invaders. In return, Saudi Arabia (& OPEC), agreed to sell their oil in US dollars only. Hence, ‘petrodollars’ were born and all countries purchasing oil from OPEC had to do so in US dollars thus forcing the world’s oil money to flow through the US Federal Reserve. Also, OPEC countries were required to invest their profits in US treasuries, bonds and bills. USA got richer and our military machine continued to expand at an accelerated rate. BTW, the Soviet Union never had a chance and eventually led to the collapse of the Communist block. Time moves on and the Iraq situation rears up. We all know that story and by 2000 Iraq began selling its oil exclusively in euros. What next ? Why in 2003, the U.S. invades Iraq. Once the U.S. had control of the country, oil sales were immediately switched back to dollars. How about Gaddafi ? He decided to move away from the petrodollar in favor of gold. A year later, there is a rebellion against Gaddafi and U.S. and NATO armed rebels execute him in cold blood. Iran, Syria, they're all threats to the petrodollar. What will the US risk there ? Remember, if the petrodollar falls, there’s absolutely nothing else holding up the value of our dollar. This is why, in the end, the party affiliation of the POTUS doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.
