If only liberals had a monopoly on the lack of logic. Sadly this malady is much more widespread than that. It has been members of both parties and philosophies who have presided over the decline to where we are today.

As my wise Grandmother said, "A person convinced against his will is of the same opinion still".

  7. And conservatives never get emotional about anything? Not abortion, religion, taxes, nothing? Why do I always see conservatives yelling, red faced, with veins bulging out of their necks?

These issues, including gun control, are inherently emotional. I see the facts misused and misconstrued, by both sides, pretty often. Just listen to a keynote speaker at an NRA convention and hear how many times they use fear to promote guns. Fear is an emotion.

Quotes from the 2013 NRA conference in Houston:
Glen beck: "the only difference between your mom and sister being raped, and them walking home unmolested... Is a gun."

Wayne LaPierre (executive VP of the NRA): "lying in wait right now is a terrorist, a deranged school shooter, a kidnapper, a rapist, a murderer, waiting and planning and plotting..."

For the record, I don't count myself a member of either party and I do have a CHL, not because I'm want to exercise my 2nd amendment rights, but because there are situations where I am scared. Sorry for being emotional.

  8. Never try to talk sense to a liberal, you are not the ******* whisperer.
A man without a gun is a subject; a man with a gun is a citizen.
I'll keep my freedom, my guns and my money. You can keep THE CHANGE.

You say being prepared is being fearful....... Ok... THAT is a FAIL..... You need to step back and think some more before you go confusing the two again.....

Also, if you are carrying a firearm because you are scared, you need more training..... If you are scared, you are quite possibly NOT in control of your actions and could be a danger to others...

A state trooper stopped a 95 year old woman on interstate 20, and noticed as he was checking her drivers license, that she had a concealed carry permit. He said, "got any guns with you ma'am?" She said, "yes, a 45 Smith & Wesson in the glove compartment, a 357 magnum in the console and a 38 special in my purse." The trooper said "lady, what are you scared of?"

She said, "NOT A DAMN THING!!!"

One thing that I learned decades ago is that liberals fall primarily into two classes, the incurably stupid and the committed communists and socialists. Sometimes they show both characteristics. There are no cogent arguments to convince liberals since they depend either on emotionalism or talking points put forth by ideologues. Facts only frustrate and confuse them. They aren't aware that they are losing their liberties because the majority doesn't have any idea what the Constitution guarantees. The ideologues hate the Constitution because it isn't compatible with their Marxist beliefs.
