Our President has been usurping the power of both the legislative and judicial branches of government. He is not permitted under the Constitution to pick what parts of a law are enforced, which laws to not enforce at all, make recess appointments when the Senate is not in recess, and alter the Bill of Rights and laws passed by congress. He has ignored judicial orders about drilling bans in the gulf. Immigration laws are ignored. And of course he is altering the 1st, 2nd 4th, 5th, and 10th amendments. There are too many more abuses to even enumerate.

Bush was doing the same things but not to the same extent. We are now living in a post constitutional U.S. Some have referred to this as a soft tyranny. And it is going to get much worse. The progressives are saying this is just a conspiracy theory, that the government is only trying to protect us, they're just trying to make life better, or that only those who have nothing hide need to be concerned. None of this abuse of power can be denied. People just seem willing to accept them. I am starting to lose patience with the idiots that are ignoring or accepting the abuse of power taking place right in front of them. We are being betrayed by our elected officials and sold into bondage. And there is no easy or painless way out.

If we don't get people to start backing Tea Party and/or Libertarian candidates who are in favor of strict Constitutionalism and smaller government, we will get candidates who are not.
