On the national level this is going to cause a lot hesitation when it comes to passing gun control. Those who are not in absolutely safe districts will not touch it. Previously these representatives were being told that the NRA would not he able to touch them since the Democratic Party would protect them with huge amounts of cash going to their campaigns. Colorado proved the flaws with these promises.

The second amendment has protected liberty in this country for more than 200 years; and people are getting tired of these arrogant, lying, political pimps. Even the Obama idiot voters could turn the tide in Colorado. I pray that this becomes a trend in the remaining free states in this country.

If it doesn't fit, FORCE it! If it breaks then it needed to be replaced anyway.

My understanding is that the anti gunners outspent the pro gun folks by about 7 to 1. If accurate that says even more about the situation. First it shows how much the demos cared about this fight. It was paid for with national money, not just Colorado money. Second, the successful recall in spite of the excess $ thrown in from national sources (ie. Bloomie) shows how disgusted voters of both parties were about politicians who think they "know better" than their constituents.

Why in the world do politicos think they know better than those they represent? It's not like they had to pass a "we are really smart" test to take office.

Clearly they didn't! I think they may have had to pass a "we can be led around with money" test... so apparently they think everyone can!

How 'bout them apples!!! Not all is wrong in the world. Good riddance to a couple of arrogant elitists who thought their job was to rule rather than represent.
