Thumbs up Gun control advocates say Colorado recall stifling effort in Congress

Colorado's historic recall of two state legislators who backed new gun restrictions may have national repercussions, as advocates say the effort will make it harder to revive stalled efforts in Congress to tighten firearm laws.

I also read that MAIG would contribute even more to those that try to initiate legislation for gun control. So even though there may be a "pause" in Congress temporarily, I doubt this is an actual stall. And next time, they are going to come at us with more money and tighter ranks.

In other words, beware, and be prepared for a stronger fight next time.

As an aside, as I'm reading this, there is a flashing ad on the site for a green laser by Crimson Trace. Does anyone find that a bit comical?

Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!! Don't you feel sorry for the two losers in CO. They got their feel good feeling hurt by the big bad NRA. Looks like it was well spent money by the NRA and voters in CO. 2 down and hundreds to go.

Liberals hate it when the unwashed reject the efforts of their good intentions. After all they are looking out for our best interests, They know we the unwashed have no idea what is best for us. They will increase their efforts to rally the low information voters. They will not take this defeat lightly. They will blame this loss on one special interest not a grass roots ground swell of patriots.

Have you ever noticed that when the antis win one they say "This shows that the NRA and the rest are losing their efectiveness blah, blah, blah" but when the lose they say "This dosen't mean that the effectiveness of the NRA or other pro gun groups are stronger than ours. It was the result of voter suppression, voter apathy, blah, blah, blah"?
