SCAMAGEDDON: What if Obamacare Was Never About Health?

Could Obamacare be the biggest voter registration fraud scheme in the history of the world?

This is the bombshell assessment of a pair of conservative activists: Gregg Phillips, founder of Voters Trust, and Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote. Both groups are conservative nonprofits focused on election integrity.

What helped Phillips and Engelbrecht draw this conclusion, which Breitbart News reported this week, is almost as amazing as the conclusion itself: Left-wing groups and media have for some time been openly discussing Obamacare as a vehicle for so-called Motor Voter registration. Motor Voter is the law that makes voter registration a part of driver’s license applications.

In fact, the 1993 law also requires any government office that provides “public assistance” to make voter registration part of the process. Since many applicants applying for coverage in the Obamacare “insurance marketplace” – the infamously malfunctioning healthcare.gov website – will be eligible for Medicaid (public assistance), not “Marketplace coverage,” voter registration by law must be part of the available health insurance package.

Presto – 68 million voters, registered with the help of Obamacare “navigators.” Wanna bet whether these new voters will trend Democrat or Republican?

Of course, “presto” doesn’t literally describe the pace of this massive voter registration project, but just give it time. This is the finding, not of conservatives Phillips and Engelbrecht, but of a report by Demos, a left-wing organization funded by George Soros. The report’s title says it all: “Building a Healthy Democracy: Registering 68 Million People to Vote through Health Benefit Exchanges.”

Conservative commentator and former New York Lt. Gov. Betsy McCaughey has written about this aspect of Obamacare, highlighting similar evidence in the program of a “cynical scheme of enrolling Democratic voters.” Earlier this year, McCaughey noted that the Obamacare law “outsourced” the all-important job of enrolling the uninsured in health plans to community organizations.

Why does this matter? McCaughey explained it this way: “Community activists” – Obamacare “navigators” – “can say and do things that government employees can’t, such as urging people to register as Democrats.” She continued: “There is nothing wrong with encouraging voting. But a government employee (for example, at the DMV) is legally barred from saying you should become a Democrat. A community organizer can say it and will. … The Obama health law transforms community organizations into a fifth estate with steady government funding but without government rules.”

I'd agree with this if the people trying to sign up weren't thwarted at every turn on the Healthcare's website. It's an interesting slant and there may be some merit as a tertiary point, but if this was truly about voter registration, the website would indeed be working well.

I have known of many people that have just thrown up their hands and said screw it, let them fine me.

If the conservatives in office would just back up and let this Healthcare plan blow up on itself, they will look golden afterwards.

IT WAS NEVER ABOUT HEALTHCARE!!! Just do the math... first it was 12 Mil without health insurance, then the number grew to 20 and finally 40Million without healthcare being quoted now. Now, the government has spent how much on the website and advertising to tell people how great it is? Last number I've heard was that before the Oct 1 launch, they spent $180MIL on advertising alone. Take the amount they already spent and divide that by 40Mil without health insurance... they could give each of them $2mil each in a Health Savings Account, which would accrue interest... and they would have enough money to pay for their own health insurance for the rest of their lives and the Govt would have money left over. In fact, if set up correctly, the remaining balance could revert back into the program to fund future beneficiaries. They could leave the rest of us alone......BUT THEY WON'T!!! It's all about CONTROL... and turning "Citizens" into "Subjects".

INSTEAD... they are violating the Constitution on many levels. The most troublesome to me is the 4th Amendment...in which the ACA (Obamacare) states that any governmental agency may share and use ANY data transmitted across the (required) electronic system, even down to State and Local governments ....and the US Citizens within the system "HAVE NO REASONABLE EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY"!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Most of those being forced into one of the exchanges are furious that the process is so screwed up. Those registering for Medicade are already Democratic voters who always wanted and expected free health care. These are part of the uninformed idiot voter class. Also things are really going to get good when the gullible can't find doctors willing to participate in the programs and there are huge lines at the clinics and the emergency rooms.

There is also one major side effect that has already begun. The internet scam artists and identity thieves are about to have a field day if the website ever gets up and running. The security measures can be classified as primitive at best. And all your private information will be available to anyone with just mediocre computer skills. There has already been a fraudulent healthcare.com website that actually works. The government site, healthcare.gov, is the one that doesn't work.

Affordable Care Act--Government's license to spy on you

If the White House can get it up and running, healthcare.gov has the possibility and the likelihood of becoming the most comprehensive spy database in the history of America specifically aimed at Americans. If you can even attempt to sign up for socialized healthcare, you will soon see that the information collected on you is incredible. This information by law will be shared across governmental departments and agencies to track your every movement. First, we know that the IRS is administering the program. That, in of itself, should be alarming to every American. But what you may not know is the rest of the story--who gets your information and who, mandated by law, cross-checks it under the guise of "eligibility."Under "Subpart B--Eligibility Determinations," the Affordable Care Act states that every enrollee must provide their Social Security number. This number is entered into the government database to ostensibly verify your citizenship. Which would, in turn, verify your eligibility. The exchange then submits the social security number AND the "information provided by an applicant" to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The HHS Secretary then submits the information to the "Secretary of Homeland Security...for a determination as to whether the information provided is consistent with the information in the records of the Secretary of Homeland Security."

This is legal license to violate your Constitutional right to privacy, and by providing it on the healthcare.gov site, you voluntarily give the government permission to spy on you and use your information across its vast spy network from the IRS to HHS to Homeland Security. My advice: DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THIS SITE. The government does not even have the ability to protect your information. The Heritage Foundation, for example, documents users whose healthcare information was shared with others in another state--just for submitting info to evaluate options after their healthcare plan was cancelled by insurers. The Fourth Amendment reads: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." There was a reason the Founding Fathers didn't want an overreaching government to seize your personal items. People are killed every day in other countries for opposing the government in the slightest of ways. But under socialized medicine, you are voluntarily giving up your Fourth Amendment rights to whatever the government wants to accuse you of. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." This socialized healthcare is tremendous deception.

It WAS NEVER about health care for people, it was about control. Period. “Socialized Medicine is the keystone to the arch of the socialist state.” Vladimir Lenin.

John Edwards was correct in his stupid overused speech in the 2008 election cycle stating that "there are two Americas." One America works, produces wealth, and shoulders the responsibility for paying all the bills. The other America sits on its a$$, leaches off the government, and feels justified in stealing the life blood and prosperity from the entire country. There is a small percentage of people who require and deserve our support. But we have 50% now collecting government largesse. Am I the only one who is getting tired of supporting those who will not work and demand government support?
