    Thumbs up America for Huckabee!

    HUCKABEE FOR AMERICA!

THE MOST AUTHENTIC, CONSISTANT, COMPASSIONATE AND EXPERIENCED CANIDATE RUNNING FROM ANY PARTY!

  4. In years past the Republicans have ran a very smooth cohesive campaign, all solidly behind their man. That is why the Dems have lost the last two presidential elections. They have been handed a golden opportunity this time in that the current administration has alienated a significant portion of the population so there is already an anti-Republican bias in many voters minds. The election will be decided by the swing voters those Reagan Democrats and other middle of the road voters. With that in mind it is time to reveiw current crop of candidates and see if any are who have the charisma or character to carry the day. I am not very optomistic at this point.

The good Dr. Paul is my guy. I don't trust anyone else on either side.

Although, Ronald Reagan did much for the country and the world...

The facts are the Reagan days gave us a repeat of Jimmy Carters amnesty, and began the stinking free trade agreements that has made big business rich and sent our manufacturing jobs to Mexico and world wide; additionally the abysmal Class III ban that we have been trying to get over turned every since...
    Further, "The Brady Bunch"

I personally do not want to see this kind of politician back in office...

It is time for a new kind of politician, one whom believes in what what he says, can connect with the rest of America, one whom looks like your friend and neighbor and not the guy whom laid off your neighbor, or yourself...
And has a proven record of positive consistency...

I have personally and quite often painfully watched all the republican and democrat debates to date and remained objective throughout; and still can come to no other conclusion then Mike Huckabee is the most Authentic, Consistent, Compassionate and Experienced Candidate running from any party...

Notwithstanding that Mike Huckabee is the only canidate running from any party with a perfect second amendment support record and as of 2007 has the highest combined rating of any canidate from the NRA A+ and the GOA A-. Moreover, the only canidate running from any party with a CCW and the was the first Governor in the United States to obtain a CCW.

Without the second amendment, all other issues, policies, values etc., have no meaning or merit...

Mike Huckabee said it well at the recent South Carolina debate...
"Its time we started giving the Second Amendment the same attention we give the First Amendment..."

I know, I know Gunny. That is exactly my point. I am increasingly concerned that we will shoot ourselve in the foot during this too-long campaign. That was why I believe Fred was wise to stay out of the fray so long and pace himself for the election. Unfortunately, it may end up being a no-win situation unless we bring up a candidate who can actually get control and re-unite the factions. The race is (I hope not WAS) ours to lose, despite the backlash from the war and increasing PR blunders. Wish Dubya would learn to find good help!

Which Democrats running for President have a proven record of selling us out on the second amendment?
    ALL OF THEM

Which Republicans running for President have a proven record of selling us out on the second amendment, while hypocritically claiming to support it?
    Fred Thompson
    Mitt Romney
    Rudy Giuliani
    John McCain
    Ron Paul
    Tom Tancredo (withdrew)

One presidential canidate has a perfect record of supporting the second amendment and only one...Mike Huckabee

You have to remember that all positive 2A bills look good on the face, however you have to look at the PORK that has been attached. May of a time legislators have sponsored a bill only to vote against it because the true meaning of the bill had been changed by all the attachments. Just because someone has voted against a bill that was 2A doesn't mean that they are negative 2A. Same thing on Veterans bills. Veterans complain that something did not pass but if they looked a little closer at the bill they would see that it would cause more problems than it would fix. Bottom line there is more to a bill than the title! The same thing applies to the candidates. Just because a candidate is very pro 2A doesn't mean they are the prefect candidate. There is a lot more at stake than just the 2A.

    Yes, the canidates record counts...

The CFR card-carrying member Fred Thompson has flip-flopped and waffled more then John Kerry...

Fred Thompson has been out of politics over 5 years...

what about bills that have only to do with the second amendment?

Fred Thompson (second-amendment sellout) has a record of voting anti-gun on 100% anti-gun bills while hypocritically claiming to support the second amendment...

    As did...
    Mitt Romney
    Rudy Giuliani
    John McCain
    Ron Paul
    Tom Tancredo (withdrew)

With out the second amendment all others have no meaning...

Yes consistency and track record matters and Fred's is abysmal...
