Saudi Offer Money, Troops To Fight ISIS – Were Turned Down By Obama
.
Bret Baier points to the meeting today between President Trump and Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Crown Prince, Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud, at the White House. Baier is joined by Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud, an advisor to Deputy Crown Prince Al Saud and a member of their royal family.
.
He reports that it is his understanding that the meeting went well and that the two men got along quite fine with one another. He said they discussed many important issues and found agreement on most of them. He said that the Prince “was very keen to come and meet President Trump as early as possible to emphasize the importance of the relationship between the two countries and to reinvigorate their strategic, longstanding partnership that we’ve had.”
.
He points out, “We’ve been partners and allies for fifty years, we’ve worked very well together, Saudi Arabia has been a stable and reliable partner for the United States for that time. And I think Prince Mohammad was keen to make sure that we can move into the 21st century together in a very positive and mutually beneficial way.”
.
Baier raises the points that President Trump has raised, including Saudi Arabia paying their fair share of the cost of defeating ISIS and their protection, safe zones in Syria with the Saudis helping to cover the cost.” He says they’re “more than ready to cooperate with the United States on countering ISIS in Syria and Iraq, across the region, not just financially but the Saudi government offered during the Obama administration’s time to send its troops into Syria to fight ISIS, that was not met with enthusiasm by the Obama administration.”
.
Of course not, Prince, Obama didn’t want ISIS defeated, they’re his boys. They’re the ones supposed to deliver Syria to him but Russia got in the way. The US could have taken them out in short order if we’d had a President instead of a foreign Islamic subversive squatting in our White House.
.
The Prince says he believes the offer remains on the table and says they’re more than ready to help in the eradication of ISIS, “not just financially but with its own troops and with its own people.” He can’t says whether safe zones inside Syria were discussed in today’s meeting but affirmed that the Saudis recognize that the fight isn’t restricted to simply defeating ISIS, but prevent the ground that helps it come to fruition in Syria and Iraq from existing in the future.
.
They discuss the reforms slated for Saudi Arabia as well as the hit their economy is taking due to the drop in global oil prices. The travel ban executive order is also raised, with the Prince stating that the topic was discussed but acknowledging that there is agreement in the motivations and that Saudi Arabia similarly has stringent standards for determining who is allowed into their country.

Now that Obama is no longer in office, I wonder how many other hidden items like this are going to surface now that Holder & Lynch can’t cover them up.
