2000 lies in just under a year. 5.6 per day which is remarkable given the amount of time he takes off.

#2000 - "The countries come in and they put names in a hopper and they’re not giving you their best names, common sense means they’re not giving you the best names, they giving you people that they don’t want and then we take them out of the lottery. And when they do it by hand when they put the hand in a bowl like probably what’s in their hand are the worst of the worst but they put people in that they don’t want into a lottery and the United States takes those people."(1/9/18)

From CNN, the media that can't even tell the truth. 13% truth for them while 11% false and another 3% blatant lies.

Well, there's the fact that Trumplethinskin is a proven pathological liar, more than that, he's a stupid liar. Remember, he had the "biggest inaugural crowds ever" 2k lies sounds about right.

Again, in direct conflict with the facts you choose to make yourself look foolish. Taking Trump tactics, tell enough lies, frequently enough? After all there are still people that believe the earth is flat. Some people are simply incapable of comprehending the reality.

XD: Funny that you should say some people are incapable of comprehending reality. You, old hoss, are a classic example of those to which you refer. The reality is that Trump is president, like it or not. And, as for lying, is he doing anything different than those who have preceded him? ALL politicians lie. That is the name of the game. It is time for a reality check, Trump is president and all the tactics used against him for the past year have not only failed miserably to get him out of office but their whining has caused the Liberals and Democrats to be exposed as being the most dishonest and despicable people in existence. The news media has proven to no longer be reliable in reporting the truth, but has shown to be totally false in reporting information about Trump or any of his actions, while actually upholding the Clintons, et al, and failing to report any of their criminal activities.

Much to the chagrin of the Democrats, Trump has actually made accomplishments that they couldn't, or refused to do. That has made the public sit up and take notice of how crooked the past few years have been. Thanks to all the publicity Trump is getting, free of charge, he may sail right into a second term with little or no effort. Ain't life great?

I would be willing to bet $1000 that Trump WON'T make it to a 2nd term. Also, other than passing a tax scam and stealing a SCOTUS seat what has he accomplished?

All that will matter at the midterms and 2020 is the one thing that is Kevlar to political food fights. The economy. Always and forever. If the country is struggling then the party in power will struggle and if it's the opposite then they'll be mostly impervious to a power grab.

We'll see....however with falling approval & 69% disapproval, the drip, drip, drip of Watergate level scandal, constant self inflicted Twitter wounds, and historic norms of midterm losses (Dems have a 17% lead in polls against republicans) the odds would seem to be in the Democrats favor. Trump has no coat tails.

Also with 38 Republican retirements announced in both the House and Senate....well people in DC certainly see writing on the wall. Especially after losing in AL & VA.

I think everything you said will be taken into account. It's really going to end up being, how financially secure and economically optimistic are the voters. No one will vote a climate of success away, if in fact, the economy is going gangbusters.

Do not get optimistic about VA and AL being a litmus test. VA is a dark purple state at best and much of the population are federal workers afraid of Trump making deep cuts in their agencies so I expect VA will be bluer if anything in 18. 20 is too hard to project for a lot of reasons.

AL was far from a Dem victory other than the outcome. It was more a complete rejection of a fatally flawed and despicable candidate and he still barely lost. Jones is in the exact same position as Scott Brown was in MA. A lame duck Republican Senator in a blue state that was there to fill Ted Kennedy's seat after beating a politician (Coakley) who had left voters cold even as a (D). Jones is a lame duck Dem with a two year term so he'd better make the best of it.

Neither party should be complacent or rest on their laurels.

Well lets look an your little rant, piece by piece.

Show me where I have made any statement about Trump not being president or my president. The sick reality he is president. Like it, no, but the same would be true if Hillary were president.

Yes, all politicians lie, but the narcissistic fool is a pathological liar and I fear he really doesn't know the difference between reality and his delusions. And you are good with lying politicians? Demonstrates your lack of moral standards, and you pontificate your holier than thou christian values.

Yes, the media has a black eye, especially the right wing nut media like Breitbart and the rest of the Trump propaganda machine. But we have a fool in the White House screaming fake news, while telling lie after lie after lie (provable lies). The same media that stated that Hillary escaped to Russia and that multiple servers and harddrives were destroyed in a small ceiling file in the secret service quarters near the Clinton's home.

I've never said the Clinton's should go free, but moving forward they are not the threat to our (the USA's) future or security. Sadly that is the reality of having a narcissistic paranoid buffoon as president, paranoid he will be poisoned so he eats a lot of Big Macs, while taunting another narcissistic paranoid buffoon with nukes about the size of his button. Are they in the 4th grade?
