Get rid of them! Let's build a wall! Let's track them! Land, air and sea! Let's stop-and-frisk them! I don't care if they have families and want to work! I don't care if businesses rely on them because half of Americans demand their WELFARE!
    .
    Ok.
    Let's build that wall.
    Let's track them.
    Let's stop-and-frisk them.
All I want is your vote in return.
    .
Ah, the Magna Carta and The Bill of Rights. But those are outdated, so we now have a scotus that knows the ins and the outs.
    .
Like the soup kitchens, and American folks standing in line to sign up for welfare - EVERYBODY will be required to stand in line to get their very own RFID chip so that we can track your every movement. On land. In air. On the open seas. And YOU will have to pay for it all.
    .
    .
    .

But officer! I was just driving across the state line to visit my mother! It's only a 3 mile trip!
    .
If you don't have a chip, how do I know you're not an illegal?
    .
    But I AM legal!
    .
Show me your chip or I will Stop and Frisk you. If you refuse, I will TASE you and haul your ass to jail.
    .
But I'm an American! I FOUGHT for FREEDOM!
    .
BZZZZZZZZZ - tell it to the judge!
    .
Hey!!! I can't believe it!!! You TASED me!!! I have to work tomorrow, I can't go to jail! My kids are waiting for me at home!
    .
Are you calling me stupid, punk?! I've heard THAT line a million times before. You aren't chipped so you're guilty and going to jail. Save it for the judge, punk.
    .
But officer! I can't afford to prove my innocence in court, I have kids to feed! And I'm a proud supporter AND contributor to Law Enforcement - AND ICE!
    .
Then you should have thought about that when they were handing out BIOMETRICS. That plastic D/L can be fake for all I know.
    .
    .
    .
The American people WANTED this, this is what you GET.

In scenes identical to what one would anticipate from a dystopian novel, The UN wants every man, every woman, and every child to have biometric identification by 2030.
    .
UN says it is an element of their Global Goals objective and they’re already working in that direction of implementing this objective, main targets are refugee citizens. The United Nations and Accenture have joined hands on this agenda that will record and resend inputs to a central database located in Geneva.
    .
According to Find Biometrics report, the UN’s final aim is to have biometric identification for all humans by 2030. The authorized website of the World Bank says:
    .
Providing legal identity for all (including birth registration) by 2030 is a target shared by the international community as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (target 16.9).
    .
The World Bank Group (WBG) has launched the Identification for Development (ID4D) cross-practice initiative, with the participation of seven GP/CCSAs sharing the same vision and strategic objectives, to help our client countries achieve this goal and with the vision of making everyone count: ensure a unique legal identity and enable digital ID-based services to all.

    .
Biometrics’ biggest risk to privacy comes from the government’s ability to use it for surveillance. As face recognition technologies become more effective and cameras are capable of recording greater and greater detail, surreptitious identification and tracking could become the norm.
    .
The problems are multiplied when biometrics databases are “multimodal,” allowing the collection and storage of several different biometrics in one database and combining them with traditional data points like name, address, social security number, gender, race, and date of birth. Further, geolocation tracking technologies built on top of large biometrics collections could enable constant surveillance. And if the government gets its way, all of this data could be obtained without a warrant and without notice or warning.

Actually, every single thing PAF mentions above is already happening on a daily basis, and one need look no further than YouTube to see it. "Real" ID, implanted RFID, facial recognition, fines based on unmanned cameras and radar may all contribute to making it more ubiquitous, but it's pretty damned ubiquitous already without the extra technologies.

Digging out of fallen trees and debris that landed in our yards from origins unknown over here. Just got power back on about an hour ago. Put one day's worth of work into cleanup yesterday. Went through three chains that are now so dull they won't do much more than burn through the fallen trees, and didn't even get anywhere near clearing even one of the four trees that are blocking our driveway. It'll take me weeks to clear it all. My ol' bones are achin' just thinkin' about it. Neighbors cleared the trees blocking the road. Nobody on this road had any structural damage, but there's lots of it around the area. I did lose four solar panels, only three of which were still on my property, and only one of those of which is salvageable. Tracked them down today as they were on the other side of where the trees fell. No sign of the fourth one though. FL refugees are clogging up traffic in Dothan from what I hear, but I haven't ventured that far yet to see it for myself.

Actual Cat 3 or Cat 2 hurricanes in Ala-freakin'-bama. Who'da thunk it? Certainly not I, lest we would've moved to South Dakota or Wyoming. Pretty sure I hate hurricanes more than the ol' lady hates cold and snow, so we may end up there yet.

Meanwhile, I will not be calling on government to help dig us out, and will not allow government on my property should it target us as "beneficiaries" of its "largess." I understand that in reality, it is the involuntary largess of the American tax-payer, and that's a group that I have struggled greatly to avoid burdening with my responsibilities. Thank me. I'm welcome.

No one has ever heard me say that I "hate" cops, because I don't. This is why I will never trust one again though: You just never know...

If I was in your neck of the woods I’d do what I can to help. I hope all goes well, Blues.

An actual conversation between a citizens and a government goon.
“Citizens?” an agent asked her as she drove up to the checkpoint.

“Are we crossing a border?” Parmely responded.

“No. Are you United States citizens?” he repeated.

“Are we crossing a border?” Parmely repeated. “I’ve never been asked if I’m a citizen before when I’m traveling down the road.”

As the agent continued to repeat his question, Parmely told him that he could ask her the question, but she didn’t have to answer.

“You are required to answer an immigration question,” the agent said. “You are not required to answer any other questions.”

When Parmely refused to answer the question, the agent told her that she was being detained for an immigration inspection.

“So if I just come through and say, ‘Yes, I’m a citizen,’ I can just go ahead?” Parmely asked.

“If the agent is justified by the answer, then yes,” the agent responded.

“So if I have an accent, and I’m brown, can I just say, ‘Yes,’ and go ahead or do I have to prove it?” she asked. “I have a bunch of teacher friends who are sick of their kids being discriminated against.”

“Ok, I’m not discriminating against anybody,” the agent said.

Later during the encounter, Parmely’s son asked to use the bathroom. One agent told Parmely that he could not use the bathroom until his mother answered the question about her citizenship. Another agent came over shortly after to escort the boy to a bathroom.

Border Patrol agents eventually let Parmely go without answering their question.

“Religion is an insult to human dignity. Without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things.
But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.” ― Steven Weinberg

Three friends in Pensacola and they're all doing pretty well considering the circumstances and what other areas have experienced. Good luck with you and the neighbors taking care of business yourselves despite the challenges and you'll be months ahead of any help they would have offered you anyway.
