AOC Flips Out Over Climate Change; Says Miami WON'T EXIST In A Few Years

During an NAACP forum last Wednesday, far-left socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suggested that the entire city of Miami would be gone in a "few years" if we don't implement her radical Green New Deal.

"What is not realistic is not responding to the crisis -- not responding with a solution on the scale of the crisis," Ocasio-Cortez said. "Because what's not realistic is Miami not existing in a few years. That's not realistic. So, we need to be realistic about the problem."

    Video: https://youtu.be/MhteoMQ_LPI

Ocasio-Cortez's 'Green New Deal' is nothing close to realistic. Check out what The Blaze reported:

The freshman Democrat published the Green New Deal in February, resulting in a barrage of criticism and mockery.
Although Ocasio-Cortez purports the proposal mostly focuses on combatting climate change, her now-former chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti admitted in July the Green New Deal really isn't about the climate.

"The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is it wasn't originally a climate thing at all," Chakrabarti said during a conversation with reporters. "Do you guys think of it as a climate thing? Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing."

The Green New Deal would cost American taxpayers nearly $100 trillion.

Ocasio-Cortez is no stranger to making outrageous climate change claims. She previously claimed the world will end in 12 years if climate change is not sufficiently addressed. She later walked back that claim.
Ocasio-Cortez continues to stun the American people with her radical ideas and her bizarre comments.

Just last week onn Tuesday during a House Financial Services Committee hearing, Ocasio-Cortez announced that she "literally" made a student loan payment during the hearing, adding that she felt "really accomplished right now."

"I literally made a student loan payment while I was sitting here at this chair, and I looked at my balance, and it was $20,237.16," Ocasio-Cortez said. "I just made a payment that took me down to $19,000 so I feel really accomplished right now."

The far-left socialist is known for trying to take advantage of the spotlight by making grandstanding comments such as this. Her point in mentioning her own student loan debt was to hammer Republicans for not doing anything about the $1.5 trillion is student loan debt.

The complaining by Ocasio-Cortez is odd considering she is making just shy of $200,000 a year, a 550% increase from just two years ago.

Check out what the Daily Wire reported:

Interestingly, Ocasio-Cortez reported a wage of $26,581 in 2017. While her salary has grown more than 550% since she was elected to the United States Congress, the self-proclaimed "radical" congresswoman has apparently still not paid down her student loans.

Ocasio-Cortez has been an outspoken advocate of passing legislation to eliminate student loan debt for the majority of Americans, including her own. While speaking at a press conference to announce college affordability legislation in June, Ocasio-Cortez contended that it is easier for her to do something that was "nearly impossible" than to pay off her debt.

"I have student loans, too," Ocasio-Cortez said back in June. "And I think it's so funny [that] a year ago I was waiting tables in a restaurant and it was literally easier for me to become the youngest woman in American history elected to Congress than it is to pay off my student loan debt."

"So that should tell you everything about the state of this, of this – of our economy and of the state of quality of life for working people," she continued. "Because in order for me to get a chance to have health care, in order for me to get a chance to pay off my student loans, I had to do something that was nearly impossible. And I don’t think that that is the bar through which a person should be able to access education, health care, and a bevy of other things that should be considered human rights."

    This is a useful point.

If people always followed the law, you wouldn’t need to confiscate AR-15s because of the whole murder being illegal thing.
Beto is admitting his confiscation plan is aimed at the law abiding.

Maryland’s ‘Red Flag’ Law Turns Deadly: Officer Kills Man Who Refused To Turn In Gun

A 61-year-old man is dead after he was shot by an officer trying to enforce Maryland’s new ‘red flag’ law in Ferndale Monday morning.

Anne Arundel County Police confirmed the police-involved shooting happened in the 100 block of Linwood Avenue around 5:17 a.m.

According to police, two officers serving a new Extreme Risk Protective Order (Red Flag Law), a Maryland protective order to remove guns from a household, shot and killed the man listed on that order.

“Under the law, family, police, mental health professionals can all ask for the protective orders to remove weapons,” said Sgt. Jacklyn David, with Anne Arundel County Police.

That man was identified as Gary J. Willis of same address.

Officials said Willis answered the door while holding a handgun.

Willis then placed the gun next to the door.

When officers began to serve him the order, Willis became irate and grabbed his gun.

One of the officers tried to take the gun from Willis, but instead Willis fired the gun.

The second officer fired a gun, striking Willis. He died at the scene.

No police officers were injured and others inside the house were unharmed.

Police continue to investigate the shooting. At this time it’s not clear who called police to alert them about Willis.

Anne Arundel County Police have only had nine “red flag” calls so far.

    My Thoughts:

    Visions of things to come.

My question is what law abiding gun owner wouldn’t, when someone’s knocking at their door at 5:17am and not go to the door without their gun?

Doesn’t make sense why the police had to go that early, if they were just fulfilling a court order.

By one of the officers trying to take the gun from Willis and it going off, who can say which one of them was responsible to the gun discharging?

Booker Introduces Bill Requiring Gun Owners to Obtain 5-Year Federal License

Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, has introduced legislation that would require gun owners to obtain a 5-year federal license to "buy and possess" a firearm.

The licensing process outlined in the Federal Firearm Licensing Act would be handled by the U.S. Department of Justice.

"When I put it first out it was criticized by other people in the field as going too far -- that's gun licensing -- that if you need a license to drive a car in America you should have a license to buy a gun and to own a handgun," Booker said on Tuesday at the annual Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) conference.

Booker predicted that federal licensing for firearms would lower the number of shootings that occur.

"Connecticut did it -- 40 percent drop in shootings, 15 percent drop in suicides, but this is more than just what the plan is," Booker said.

According to Booker's office, the federal license would need to be "renewed every five years, at which point the applicant would have to go through a background check and undergo firearm safety training again." The bill would grant DOJ the authority to "revoke a license if the individual poses a danger to himself/herself or others" as well as "require the DOJ to regularly conduct checks to ensure that individuals are in compliance with the federal license requirements."

    My Thoughts:

    Booker's quote;

“That if you need a license to drive a car in America you should have a license to buy a gun and to own a handgun”.

The major problem is, driving a car isn’t in the Constitution, but the second Amendment is.

Elizabeth Warren keeps lying through her teeth about 'Medicare for all'

Elizabeth Warren lacks the stones to dominate the left lane of the Democratic presidential primaries. We know this because tonight, at the Detroit debate, she equivocated on whether her "Medicare for all" plan would raise taxes on the middle class. At least Bernie Sanders, the original socialist of the Senate, was willing to admit it.

The middle class would pay "less out of pocket," Warren asserted, contradicting every financial evaluation of a plan that would overturn the employer-sponsored, private health insurance plans of 150 million Americans and replace it with a Medicare package featuring benefits far more generous than the public system in its existing form.

Seeing as "Medicare for all" would cost at least $32.6 trillion — and that's generously assuming that it could continue to pay an average reimbursement rate 40% lower than that of current private health insurance rates that subsidize public plans — Warren's insistence that her plan would only raise taxes on billionaires and corporations seems to be an overt lie.

Warren's primary mechanism for paying for her socialist wish list is her likely-unconstitutional wealth tax, which her own advisers estimate would raise only $2.75 trillion in a decade, or roughly 8% of "Medicare for all." Her wealth tax, if the Supreme Court allowed it to go into effect, would penalize households with assets valued at more than $50 million.

If the math doesn't make it clear on its own, let me make Warren's performance clear: she is lying to you and she thinks that you are stupid.

No nation on earth has universal healthcare, much less with the scale of benefits boasted by "Medicare for all," without increasing taxes in some capacity on the middle class. In Austria, the marginal tax rate for income above 35,000 euros is 40%, on top of a regressive value-added tax. In Finland, the marginal tax rate for income above 37,000 euros is 57%, again, ignoring the VAT. Those are just a couple of the more obscure examples of the middle class paying a lot more for a healthcare system that has wait times for care that Americans would never tolerate.

"We’re Democrats, we don’t take away healthcare. Republicans do," Warren told the debate stage. Well, without an explanation of either how she'd fund the bare-bones reimbursement rates of "Medicare for all" or how she'd ensure that physicians wouldn't leave the market en masse when she forces a pay cut on them, this reads like a very clever lie told by a Harvard Law professor.

CNN's moderators deserve credit for holding Warren to account, and she ought to have given her supporters pause with her willfully dishonest answer.

Pocahontas “go home” no one wants to live in a socialist country like you’re proposing where you have all the power over us. We want our own power to make our own decisions.
There you go - she is making the case FOR TRUMP 2020.

Six of the Democratic Presidential hopefuls were frothing at their months, due to a NY Times article this Sunday, which the NY Times had to correct as being false, calling for the impeachment of Justice Kavanaugh before they have ANY IDEA whether the accusations are justified and as it turns out, the accusations are completely bogus and not only that, they can’t even be verified by the accuser in the first place or anyone that was around her at the time, 30 years ago.

This just shows you the, let’s leap ahead, before we know the facts from these Democratic people.

    Democrats EXPOSED:

Liberal Red Flag Law Designed To Keep Guns Out Of Your Hands, Secretly To Protect Gangs From Police!

House Democrats this week came out in support of taking guns away from some Americans, but opposed using so-called red flag laws to take guns away from gangs.

The Democrat-majority House Judiciary Committee approved allowing the federal government to intervene in some cases to take guns away from someone considered an extreme risk, but Democrats rejected a GOP-proposal that would red-flag gang members, the Washington Examiner reported.

Red flags laws allow individuals, usually family members, to petition a court and urge that someone considered a risk to himself or others have his guns taken away.

“The majority of violent crime, including gun violence, in the United States is linked to gangs,” Republican Rep. Ken Buck of Colorado said. “My amendment is quite simple. It would allow the issuance of a red flag order against anyone whose name appears in a gang database if there was probable cause to include that individual in the database.”

Buck said America’s gun control efforts should target known criminals first.

“We need to get guns out of the hands of violent criminals. That starts with [giving] law enforcement another tool to disarm gang members. We should target red flags against known criminals, especially gang members. This approach will have the most meaningful impact in reducing gun violence,” Buck said, according to KCNC.

Democrats claimed that lists of gang members can be inaccurate.

“You know, California had these databases, and they finally stopped when they discovered that they had 3-year-olds on the databases as gang members,” Democratic Rep. Zoe Lofgren of California said. “I mean, so some of these are reliable, a lot of them are not.”

Other Democrats claimed law enforcement might go so far as to claim that someone who doodled “13” on a piece of paper was part of the MS-13 gang.

“Maybe you are just doodling because it is the 13th of June,” said Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler.

Buck said police use high standards to identify gang members.

“This is a situation where the police officers are trained, and there are very identifiable signs, and it isn’t just one sign,” Buck said.

Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of California proposed that Buck’s amendment specifically include “individuals affiliated with white nationalism.”

Buck offered to target “any type of supremacy” and said the list should be wide-ranging.

“Let’s add Cosa Nostra to this,” Buck said.

    The amendment ultimately failed 11-21.

The red flag bill that Buck sought to amend was denounced by Republican Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, according to CNS News.

“This is the House Judiciary Committee, for goodness sake. What other constitutional rights can you lose without doing anything wrong and without your knowledge and then have to go petition a court to get it back? Tell me what that is. Tell me when that happens!” he said, adding that the bill was “so wrong on so many levels.”

“It violates fundamental Second Amendment rights, it violates property rights, it violates due process rights, and yet today, the House Judiciary Committee, with the storied history this committee has in defending — defending — the Bill of Rights is going to pass this legislation?” he said.

    My Thoughts:

So the liberal Democrats want to require the Red Flag Laws to be subjected against us law abiding gun owners but don’t want the gangs of Chicago, New York and other high volume gang places to be touched, sort of looks like the Democrats don’t want to shake the black community voting bloc.

2020 Democrats ignore Kavanaugh story correction after demanding impeachment

The Democrats running for president who quickly called for Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s impeachment over the weekend aren’t backing down – despite The New York Times issuing a major revision to its blockbuster story that ignited the demands in the first place.

For the most part, those candidates are not even acknowledging the story update.

Meanwhile, Rep. Jerry Nadler, the Democratic leader of the House Judiciary Committee, seemed to brush off his party's calls to begin proceedings against Kavanaugh, saying on a radio show Monday: "We have our hands full with impeaching the president right now.”

Many of the major 2020 Democratic candidates for president over the weekend released statements calling for Congress to impeach Kavanaugh, citing the Times' reporting of an uncorroborated and disputed college-era allegation of sexual misconduct as a reason to impeach.

But late Sunday, the paper revised its portrayed blockbuster story to include the fact that several friends of the alleged victim said she told them she did not recall the reported sexual assault in question.

But that didn’t prompt Democrats to revise or walk back their calls: In one case, billionaire environmentalist Tom Steyer called for impeachment proceedings even after the Times’ update.

“If the only way to get the truth is to launch an impeachment process for Justice Kavanaugh, I support starting that process immediately,” Steyer said Monday.

Fox News has reached out to the Democrats who called for impeachment over the weekend to ask if the candidates have changed their position in light of the newspaper’s editors' note. None have responded yet.

In its update, the paper later said, “Editors' Note: An earlier version of this article, which was adapted from a forthcoming book, did not include one element of the book's account regarding an assertion by a Yale classmate that friends of Brett Kavanaugh pushed his ***** into the hand of a female student at a drunken dorm party. The book reports that the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say that she does not recall the incident. That information has been added to the article."

Still, the earlier reporting ignited an avalanche of impeachment calls.

On Capitol Hill, the news prompted outrage from Democrats, but whether that could translate into another dramatic investigation remains to be seen.

Conservatives have ripped into Democrats for their calls:

"This is the weakest of the weak type of allegations. It's really a shameful attempt to reignite these smears against Judge Kavanaugh that are utterly baseless," Carrie Severino, the founder of the Judicial Crisis Network who recently wrote a sympathetic book about Kavanaugh, said on "Fox & Friends."

Trump, for his part, suggested Sunday that Kavanaugh should sue for defamation.

Still, other Democrats ramped up their criticism of Kavanaugh on Monday.

“It is unsurprising that Kavanaugh, credibly accused of sexual assault, would lie under oath to secure a Supreme Court seat,” tweeted New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. “Because sexual assault isn’t a crime of passion - it’s about the abuse of power. He must be impeached.”

    My Thoughts:

In the 'No Character' Department: The Democrats running for president who quickly called for Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s impeachment over the weekend aren’t backing down – despite The New York Times issuing a major revision to its blockbuster story that ignited the demands in the first place.
