"If we don't have an assault weapons ban, we are losing our freedoms in America!" -Corey Booker

We had an "assault weapons" ban for ten years - no appreciable impact on "gun violence" whatsoever. Why? Because most "gun violence" is committed with handguns - duh. These people are idiots.

Adam Schiff ‘Pushed’ US Official to Testify that Ukraine Leaders ‘Felt Pressured’ by Trump.

An explosive report from the Washington Examiner is shedding new light on Adam Schiff’s potential involvement in the escalating Ukrainian scandal; claiming he “pushed” a US official to say Ukrainian leaders felt “pressured” by President Trump.

“In a secret interview, Rep. Adam Schiff, leader of the House Democratic effort to impeach President Trump, pressed former United States special representative to Ukraine Kurt Volker to testify that Ukrainian officials felt pressured to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter as a result of Trump withholding U.S. military aid to Ukraine,” reports the Washington Examiner.

“Volker denied that was the case, noting that Ukrainian leaders did not even know the aid was being withheld and that they believed their relationship with the U.S. was moving along satisfactorily, without them having done anything Trump mentioned in his notorious July 25 phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky,” adds the website.

“Ambassador, you’re making this much more complicated than it has to be,” Schiff allegedly told the diplomat.

    My Thoughts:

So according to Schiff, if you don’t get the answer to the questions you like, you keep beating them down until you get them to make the statement you like, but I’ve got an option for you Shifty Schiff, just go and give an answer to the question you asked, then it will be the one you want.

Just like what you did with that reading of the transcript of Trump’s call to Ukraine, where you added false word’s into the transcript, pretending that they were Trump’s own words.

Schiff you're an outright liar and leaker of classified items and you've proven that for years and should be removed from ANY committee you're on.

Democrats Cut Scalise Mic to Avoid Impeachment Question

These are merely their latest actions to continue the witch hunt into President Trump.

Yesterday on the House floor the Democrats cut the microphone when Minority Whip Representative Steve Scalise was speaking. Congressman Scalise asked, “Has the House been authorized to conduct an impeachment inquiry into President Trump?”

This comes one day after Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced that they will not have a vote on impeaching President Trump. They are refusing to hold a vote because they know that it will destroy their chances of holding the House, or extending their majority in the house.

Holding a formal vote would mean that President Trump and his lawyers would be able to see the fake evidence, and cross-examine the “whistleblowers” that the Democrats are trying to use to impeach him. These are merely their latest actions to continue the witch hunt into President Trump.

    My Thoughts:

So, now if the Democrats don’t like what you’re talking about on the floor of the house, they just cut your mike and silence you.

This is really screwed up to the max, and just shows you how the Democrats work.

Schiff Pushed Volker to Say Ukraine Felt Pressure from Trump

“In a secret interview, Rep. Adam Schiff, leader of the House Democratic effort to impeach President Trump, pressed former United States special representative to Ukraine Kurt Volker to testify that Ukrainian officials felt pressured to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden's son Hunter as a result of Trump withholding U.S. military aid to Ukraine,” Byron York writes in the Washington Examiner.

The former Ambassador, however, flat-out denied Schiff’s version of events. “When Volker repeatedly declined to agree to Schiff's characterization of events, Schiff said, ‘Ambassador, you're making this much more complicated than it has to be.’”

It’s becoming clear why Schiff is trying to hide his proceedings behind closed doors.

The interview took place Oct. 3 in a secure room in the U.S. Capitol. While the session covered several topics, the issue of an alleged quid pro quo — U.S. military aid in exchange for a Ukrainian investigation of the Bidens and a public announcement that such an investigation was underway — was a significant part of the discussion.

"[The Ukrainians] didn't want to be drawn into investigating a Democratic candidate for president, which would mean only peril for Ukraine, is that fair to say?" Schiff asked Volker.

"That may be true," Volker said. "That may be true. They didn't express that to me, and, of course, I didn't know that was the context at the time." (Volker has said he did not know that Trump had mentioned the Bidens on the July 25 call with Zelensky until the rough transcript of the call was released on Sept. 25.)

"Part of the other context is vital military support is being withheld from the Ukraine during this period, right?" Schiff asked.

"That was not part of the context at the time," Volker said. "At least to my knowledge, they [Ukrainian leaders] were not aware of that."

Schiff asked whether Volker had discussed the withholding of aid with Ukrainian officials. Volker said he had not. The first time he talked with the Ukrainians about that was when a story appeared in the press, an article in Politico, "Trump holds up Ukraine military aid meant to confront Russia," on Aug. 28-29, well after the July 25 Trump-Zelensky phone call.

"The first conversation I had was when the diplomatic adviser to President Zelensky, Vadym Prystaiko, I believe it was, texted me a copy of the Politico article about the hold on assistance," Volker testified. "So I had had many conversations with him in the months prior to that, and this did not come up from him to me, which makes me believe that this was not on his radar until that time when he saw the article."

Volker said that he already knew about the suspension in aid, having learned on July 18, a week before the Trump-Zelensky call. Volker testified that he asked around about the suspension — why was it being done? — but was not able to find out what was going on.

Schiff began to push the quid pro quo allegation. He asked Volker whether he would agree that "no president of the United States should ever ask a foreign leader to help intervene in a U.S. election."

"I agree with that," said Volker.

"And that would be particularly egregious if it was done in the context of withholding foreign assistance?" Schiff continued.

Volker balked. "We're getting now into, you know, a conflation of these things that I didn't think was actually there."

Schiff wanted Volker to agree that "if it's inappropriate for a president to seek foreign help in a U.S. election, it would be doubly so if a president was doing that at a time when the United States was withholding military support from the country."

Again, Volker did not agree. "I can't really speak to that," he said. "My understanding of the security assistance issue is — "

Schiff interrupted. "Why can't you speak to that, ambassador? You're a career diplomat. You can understand the enormous leverage that a president would have while withholding military support from an ally at war with Russia. You can understand just how significant that would be, correct?"

Volker tried to go along without actually agreeing. "I can understand that that would be significant," he said.

Schiff persisted. "And when that suspension of aid became known to that country, to Ukraine, it would be all the more weighty to consider what the president had asked of them, wouldn't it?"

"So again, congressman, I don't believe — " Volker began.

"It's a pretty straightforward question," Schiff said.

"But I don't believe the Ukrainians were aware that the assistance was being held up — "

"They became aware of it," Schiff said.

"They became aware later, but I don't believe they were aware at the time, so there was no leverage implied," Volker said.

The two men continued to argue about the chronology of events. By the time the Ukrainians learned about the withheld aid in late August, Volker said, all sides had dropped the idea of making a statement announcing an investigation of the Bidens and even ts during the 2016 election. But Schiff kept pushing the notion that once the Ukrainians did learn about the withheld aid, then they would have felt tremendous pressure from Trump.

"At the point they [the Ukrainians] learned that, wouldn't that have given them added urgency to meet the president's request on the Bidens?" Schiff asked.

"I don't know the answer to that," Volker said.

Schiff pressed Volker to agree one more time. In response, Volker tried to explain that the Ukrainians did not seem to be feeling pressure from Trump and the U.S.

"Congressman, this is why I'm trying to say the context is different, because at the time they learned that, if we assume it's Aug. 29, they had just had a visit from the national security adviser, John Bolton. That's a high-level meeting already. He was recommending and working on scheduling the visit of President Zelensky to Washington. We were also working on a bilateral meeting to take place in Warsaw on the margins of a commemoration on the beginning of World War II. And in that context, I think the Ukrainians felt like things are going the right direction, and they had not done anything on — they had not done anything on an investigation, they had not done anything on a statement, and things were ramping up in terms of their engagement with the administration. So I think they were actually feeling pretty good then."

At that point, Schiff gave up. Why was Volker resisting? "Ambassador, I find it remarkable as a career diplomat that you have difficulty acknowledging that when Ukraine learned that their aid had been suspended for unknown reasons, that this wouldn't add additional urgency to a request by the president of the United States. I find that remarkable."

Later, Republican Rep. Scott Perry questioned Volker, returning to the colloquy with Schiff. Perry asked Volker whether he, Volker, had close relations with Ukrainian officials and whether, if those officials felt something was amiss, they would tell Volker.

"The folks that you dealt with in Ukraine at the very highest level, I don't know, but I'm going to ask, do you feel like they had a fair amount of trust in you?"

    "Absolutely," said Volker.

"So they would confide things in you if they had a question?"

"They would confide things," Volker answered. "They would ask questions. They would ask for help. We had a very candid relationship ... "

"In your conversation with Rep. Schiff, he kind of implied and wanted you to intimate that there was an agreement based on that conversation that: If you do the investigation, then you can have a meeting [with Trump] and maybe we'll consider this military aid. If that were the case from the call, do you feel, because they had some trust in you, that they would have come to you and said, 'Hey how do we handle this? Is this what the President of the United States is asking?' Would they confide — would they ask you that?"

"Yes," said Volker. "They would have asked me exactly that, you know. How do we handle this?"

Much of the coverage of Volker's testimony focused on his opening statement, which made its way to the media. (Washington Post headline: "Volker defends Biden as 'man of integrity' in testimony to Congress.") But there was much more to the testimony than the opening statement. Among other things, it showed how Schiff, as a powerful chairman in charge of impeachment, pursues his theory of the case even when a witness gives testimony that does not support it.

    My Thoughts:

So Schiff wasn’t getting the response that he wanted, so he tried to intimidate Volker to change his statement. I though only criminals and the Mafia did that sort of thing.

Joe Biden Misled Everyone About Wife’s Death, Blamed Innocent Man for Years

When Joe Biden brought out the story of his confrontation with a gang member named “Corn Pop” during his time as a lifeguard at a Baltimore pool, it’s interesting how quickly Democrat leaders knew to come to his defense.

There was a gang member in Baltimore with the moniker Corn Pop, they pointed out! The local NAACP chairman backed up his story! There was an obituary for a notorious dude who had that nickname! See, Biden’s not lying!

There was a reason behind the decided quickness with which everyone rushed to Biden’s side: People don’t trust his version of events on pretty much anything. Biden’s campaign-trail anecdotes and stories don’t just have the tocsin of untruth about them. They’re sometimes painfully fake.

The most obvious example of this is a fabricated story he told about a war hero that was, at best, a composite. At worst? The Washington Post may have described it best: “In the space of three minutes, Biden got the time period, the location, the heroic act, the type of medal, the military branch and the rank of the recipient wrong, as well as his own role in the ceremony.”

Something like that is ultimately harmless, though. I know that may sound strange, but think about it: No one’s reputation has been denigrated.

The same can’t be said for the sad case of Curtis C. Dunn.

To be fair, Dunn was involved in what’s easily the most traumatic event of Biden’s life. In December of 1972, mere weeks after Biden was elected to the Senate for his first term in an upset victory, his first wife and daughter were killed in a car accident while Christmas shopping.

Dunn was the truck driver who hit them. According to the Newark (Delaware) Post, Neilia Biden drove the car into the path of Dunn’s tractor-trailer for reasons unknown, perhaps having to do with her head being turned.

Dunn apparently did everything possible to avoid a collision, according to reports, even overturning his truck in the process. He was also the first person to render assistance at the scene.

This is where reality and Joe Biden diverge, however, and in a profoundly reprehensible manner.

To hear Biden tell it — at least for a very long time — Dunn’s drinking had played a part in the accident.

“A tractor-trailer, a guy who allegedly — and I never pursued it — drank his lunch instead of eating his lunch, broadsided my family and killed my wife instantly and killed my daughter instantly and hospitalized my two sons,” he said at a 2007 event in Iowa, according to Politico.

In 2001, meanwhile, Biden talked about how Dunn was “an errant driver who stopped to drink instead of drive and hit a tractor-trailer, hit my children and my wife and killed them.”

This was a common story Biden would peddle during the early part of the millennium. The problem is that, from all evidence, it was totally untrue. Dunn was not only cleared by law enforcement but some of his most vociferous defenders were those involved in the case.

“The rumor about alcohol being involved by either party, especially the truck driver [Dunn], is incorrect,” former Delaware Superior Court Judge Jerome O. Herlihy, who oversaw the investigation as a prosecutor, said in 2008 as the story was again recirculating.

Herlihy was terser when talking about the accident to Politico: “She had a stop sign. The truck driver did not.”

“In the end,” he said, “I concurred in their decision that there was no fault on his part.”

Keep in mind that most of this happened after Dunn’s death in 1999, too. Pamela Hamill, one of his seven children, went public with her anger after the story began getting repeated ad nauseam around the time of Biden’s nomination as Barack Obama’s vice-presidential candidate.

“I just burst into tears,” Hamill said of hearing the clip of how her father “drank his lunch” before the accident.

“The story already is tragic enough, why did he have to sensationalize it by saying my father was drunk? My family is outraged.”

To make things worse, she said that she had sent Joe Biden a message of support in the aftermath of 9/11 lauding his remarks. He responded with a note that said, in part, “All that I can say is I am sorry for all of us and please know that neither I or my sons feel any animosity whatsoever.”

A 2010 profile of Biden in The Atlantic said that Biden — still technically the Democrat frontrunner — “has the limber storyteller’s tendency to stretch.”

That may be fine when you’re talking about “Corn Pop” and composite stories about war heroes. When you’re accusing someone of drunk driving in an accident where your wife and daughter were killed, that’s awfully close to libel. He blamed an innocent man for years despite the fact that all of the evidence showed Dunn hadn’t done anything wrong.

“Suppose he becomes the next vice president,” Hamill said in 2008. “Movies could be made about him and books could be written about him, all falsely portraying my father as a drunk driver. We need to set the record straight and clear my father’s name right now before this goes any further.”

She did, and that played a role in alerting us to how far this “limber storyteller” will go.

Biden needs to retire, he’s way past his good to use date.

Pelosi Doesn’t Have the Votes to Authorize Impeachment Inquiry Against Trump

Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Tuesday night, Sean weighed-in on Nancy Pelosi’s announcement that she has no plans to hold a formal impeachment vote; saying the House Speaker doesn’t have the support from battleground Democrats.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has announced she will not hold a vote to officially authorize an impeachment inquiry against President Trump. Guess what? She doesn’t have the votes… The idea has been met with anxiety by battleground Democrats,” said Hannity.

“Those are the lawmakers who will make or break the radical, socialist Democratic Party’s impeachment dreams. As of tonight, they are the reason Pelosi won’t hold a vote,” he added.

    My Thoughts:

Pelosi has put the horse before the cart again. She looks pathetic with pushing the impeachment BS prior to reading the written contents that shows the phone call between Trump and the President of Ukraine didn’t have any quid pro quo between the two presidents.

Democrats worked with Russians through a former British spy and with Ukraine directly in 2016 in an effort to prevent Trump from being elected. Now Democrats are trying to impeach the victim of foreign election interference for trying to find out what the hell happened!

Federal Judge Wants to Know "What's Going On?" in Clinton Email Scandal!

Judicial Watch announced that a federal court will soon rule on whether Hillary Clinton and her top aide can be questioned under oath by Judicial Watch lawyers about the email and Benghazi controversies. The court has already granted additional discovery to Judicial Watch and is now considering Clinton’s objections, filed on September 23, to being questioned. Judicial Watch filed its response to Clinton on October 3 (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:14-cv-01242)).

The court previously ordered discovery into three specific areas: whether Secretary Clinton’s use of a private email server was intended to stymie FOIA; whether the State Department’s intent to settle this case in late 2014 and early 2015 amounted to bad faith; and whether the State Department has adequately searched for records responsive to Judicial Watch’s request. The court specifically ordered Obama administration senior State Department officials, lawyers and Clinton aides to be deposed or answer written questions under oath. The court ruled that the Clinton email system was “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.”

    Video: https://youtu.be/i22Iz9vXxkc

    My Thoughts;

This Federal Judge isn’t the only one that want’s to find out the truth concerning Hillary’s criminal actions while she was Secretary of State.

Tulsi Gabbard calls Hillary Clinton the ‘embodiment of corruption’

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard blasted Hillary Clinton Friday — calling the former first lady “the queen of warmongers” after Clinton implied the Russians were “grooming” the Hawaii congresswoman as an asset.

“Thank you @HillaryClinton,” tweeted Gabbard, who is vying to win the Democratic primary.

“You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain.”

Gabbard’s red-hot tweet came in response to Clinton earlier Friday implying that Russians were “grooming” the Hawaii congresswoman to give up her Democratic primary bid and run for president as a third-party candidate.

Great! Thank you @HillaryClinton. You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain. From the day I announced my candidacy, there has been a …

Powerful allies in the corporate media and war machine, afraid of the threat I pose.

It’s now clear that this primary is between you and me. Don’t cowardly hide behind your proxies. Join the race directly.

Clinton did not accuse Gabbard by name on Friday, while appearing on former President Obama aide David Plouffe’s “Campaign HQ” podcast. But the former first lady said she believed Russia has “got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate.

“She’s the favorite of the Russians,” Clinton said “They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far.”

Plouffe ended the podcast with a reference to Clinton’s “belief that Tulsi Gabbard is going to be a third-party candidate propped up by Trump and the Russians — ” and Clinton did not contradict him.

    My Thoughts:

I'm a Trump supporter, but I do like her much more than any of the other Democrats. Tulsi you are a bright light shining in the darkness of the liberal Democratic Party. You should switch parties, seeing how the Democratic Party is treating you.
