And I think you premise is just a little off. First, I think the lack of activity here reflects a complacency about our times, since Trump got into office. I have noticed a similar lack of interest in the Prepper world.

And while Daniel 12:4 (Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase) appears to contradict Hosea 4:6 (My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge), it really does not. General knowledge is increasing geometrically, but knowledge of what is really important, knowledge of The Lord, is lacking.

Travel, and Knowledge pertaining to advancement in technology (Daniel 12:4) has without question increased in this LAST GENERATION as prophesied. As for Hosea 4:6..."My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" is not inclusive to ISRAEL, for within the next 8 years, 90% of the worlds population will be "destroyed for lack of knowledge" of 1/3 of the SCRIPTURE...PROPHECY. The lack of forum activity is not due to lack of awareness of pending trouble or controversy, quite to the contrary, it's because the reality of the horrible consequences about to befall our nation (and the world) is much too frightening for most people to accept, and therefor the poor fools don't want to talk about it.

The new year 2020 will be the last year of life on planet earth as we know it. As a WATCHMAN, I'll warn everyone one last time..."As of May 14 of this year we were 71 years into this Last Generation (1948-2028). Within the next 8 years ALL of End Time Prophesy will have been fulfilled. As just a note of English language usage, your statement should have read: "not exclusive to ISRAEL" if you mean that it also pertains to the world. For that, I will agree, somewhat, although the prophesy, itself, is for Israel, the whole world stands to be destroyed for lack of knowledge of, and more importantly, faith in God, and His plan of Salvation.

The biggest problems I have come across in theology are a stubborn refusal of people to see beyond their own selfish desires, and an inoculation against true Christianity. (That last one comes from getting a small dose of a broken version of christianity, which then builds resistance to the real thing.) As for your timeline, I will simply say that I have learned not to put God on a deadline. One person told me: live like He will return tonight, but plan like it might be 100 years.

This is the political forum, however, and the biggest problem among those who actually believe the Scriptures, but have a very limited knowledge of them (there are too many bad teachers, and not enough good ones), and those who used to be preppers, is that they have become complacent, thinking the tide has turned and things will get good, again, like they did after some of the worst years of the past.

Any deadline or timeline is simply believing God’s Word on prophetic matters, not on my own soothsaying abilities or “word of knowledge.” Jesus has "set the timeline" stating as to when the LAST GENERATION will "BEGIN" (Fig Tree Prophecy), God has "set the deadline" as to when the LAST GENERATION must "END" (Psalm 90:10). The only time that cannot be determined is that of the "DAY & HOUR" of the RAPTURE. However, we are informed of the "SEASON" of the RAPTURE. The RAPTURE will occur in the LAST GENERATION, prior to the 7 years of the TRIBULATION , and at the time of an ECONOMIC BOOM, a great uptick in buying, selling, building, even in agricultural matters, like planting, etc....a time when we LEAST expect it.

I can agree with you about putting God on a timeline. God has, in His own way, given us clues of how things are to occur in the world and left certain indicators for us to be aware and show where we are within Bible teachings. None of us can be aware of the exact time prophetic events will be played out but God has told us how to learn from the times and beware of how near He is. For most a simple warning should be sufficient but there are those today who deny God. You can see it on here.

You have the assumption that many who refer to the Scriptures have limited knowledge of what they are saying. Some may have limited knowledge but any knowledge is better than none. Also we are admonished to study the Bible, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." II Timothy 2:15, KJV. We have had some interesting discussions on religion in times past and but there are those on here who are unbelievers and object any mention of God. They became quite hostile in their comments but is was a pleasure to have those discussions. Ringo has been consistent in keeping us informed with Biblical references which have been quite interesting. It would be nice to start having more religious comments made and some informative information passed on. I think there might be quite a bit of participation if we all try. After all time is very close by whatever standard we use. Dwight L. Moody, a great preacher of times past, was asked what would he do today if he knew the world would end tomorrow. His response was to plant a tree. Like your analogy but only a guess.

thank you for an honest challenge. The proper place for this is in a theology forum, and if you want to go deeper than what we are going here, I will PM you forum address where we can meet. Because of the urgency of the subject (salvation), however, I will give a quick summary of my views here.


My standard for True Christianity is the Bible, as is Ringo's, and while we may quibble over a detail or two, he and I largely agree that this is the season of Christ's return. I applaud him for his steadfastness in calling for people to turn to Jesus, and for his study of the Scriptures.

I do not know how I can be clearer about inoculation. There are those who teach that salvation is obtainable through works, and those who teach that it will lead to good things here on Earth. There are those who teach that you can have a moral foundation, while ignoring what the Bible says is moral. Those are weak and broken philosophies that, when they are paraded as christian, can inoculate people against true Christianity.

Should the Rapture come in the next year, God may have to fill me in on what I misunderstood.
Should both Ringo and I be here in June of 2021 (I think that is after Ringo's deadline), then I hope Ringo and I can dig into the Scriptures to see what he may have misunderstood. Either way, the answer will be found in the Word of God.

Those who are quite hostile to any mention of God are those who need Him most, and again I applaud Ringo for his steadfastness in putting it before them.

I don't have his patience with them and, after a time, will take my discussions elsewhere. The times are evil, and many hearts are made of putty (the more sunlight you shine on them, the harder they get). Most of the Scriptures were written for believers, and we need to have discussions (from time to time) that are free from the noise of unbelievers, apostates, and outright heretics, and that is why I offer web addresses for other places by PM only.
