Obama May Be Losing Support Of Police

It seems Obama's popularity may be on the down hill slope when it concerns police across the nation. Maybe more will wake up soon.

This is something that is huge where I live (Massachusetts). I agree with the Officers.....I lost respect for Obama a longggg time ago but this puts the frosting on the cake.

  4. He never had the respect of the police. I had to work a security detail for his inaugural train and I couldn't find a single officer who voted for him. Nobody wanted to salute the train as it passed by. Nobody wanted to take a bullet for the Obamassah. The big joke was that "if you hear gunfire, duck!"

Very funny. It is really sad that we have a president that is so terrible that no one would take a bullet for him.

His handlers knew this question would come up in a news conference. He just read what was scripted for him. He might be more dangerous if he had a mind of his own.

Don't know if you actually had the pleasure of hearing Obama's presser or not... but, he did horribly!

    Here’s part of the transcript…

I'm surprised by the controversy surrounding my statement, because I think it was, uh, uh a pretty straightforward commentary that you probably don't need to handcuff a guy -- a middle-aged man who uses a cane -- who is in his own home.

Now, what I do know is, as I said last night: I don't know all the details to the case.

I always thought it a good practice to keep your mouth shut until you had all the facts in hand!

My suspicion is -- is that words were exchanged between the police officer and Mr. Gates and that everybody should have just settled down and cooler heads should have prevailed. That's my suspicion. But I was asked, you know, did it make sense for it to escalate to the levels that it did (sic), and I said probably not and that uhhh, you know, it would have been more sensible for everybody to just, once it was established that Mr. Gates was in his own home, that, uhhh, we should just settle this thing down.

How in the world can a person make public judgments without even having all the facts of the matter in hand?! Yikes! This is the President of the United States speaking here‼

Obama's reaction to the Gates incident, his instinctive reaction was NOT presidential! It was the reaction of a community organizer. We got the reaction of an ACORN leader. This one event provides three learning experiences:

Lesson one. Obama's instincts are those of a community organizer, not a president. Don't bother me with the facts; I have to play to the crowd here.

Lesson two: Obama can sound as if he knows what he's talking about even when by his own admission he doesn't know what he's talking about. It's not what he says; it's how he says it.

Lesson three: When Obama is faced with a political setback, even one of his own makings, he plays the race card. Anybody who wonders what Obama accomplished with that statement had better realize it reduced the focus on his failure before the August recess demand.

    Who is Stupid

President Barack Obama said a white police officer "acted stupidly" when he arrested a black Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. After receiving a call that there was a break in by a neighbor.
I doubt if it would any difference if the burglar had been white or black. If it was me and it very well could have been because I have locked myself out several times and had to break in.
If a neighbor called and our local officers arrived, I would have been very apologetic for his inconvenience and very carefully explained the problem to him. I would have understood the situation that I had created and knew the officer was only doing what he needed to do.
I also work at a University, but that would be the last thing I would use as an excuse of my stupidity.
Now if we really want to talk about “Stupid”
I would wonder why our President would stand with Honduras’s ousted President Manuel Zelaya’s a (want to be) Dictator and the rest of his support that comes from the Chavez-led group of socialist presidents in Latin America, known as the Alba bloc, which includes the leaders of Ecuador, Nicaragua, Bolivia and Cuba.
I also wonder why he wants to stand with a Dictator such as President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and not with the People of Iran.
