OPPOSE: H.R. 1386: Pay for all your Undocumented Procedures (PAY UP!) Act of 2009 (GovTrack.us)

Ask your Representatives to oppose and vote against:

H.R. 1386 To amend section 1011 of the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003 (Public Law 108-173) to make permanent the program of Federal reimbursement of emergency health services furnished to undocumented aliens. as introduced, and vote to repeal it; and any initiative that currently or will in the future provide any entitlement including but not limited to health care emergency or other wise to illegal aliens, Such entitlements and programs encourage illegal immigration, and are a major factor in the high cost of health-care...
They cannot be continued to be allowed to use the emergency rooms as their primary health-care facility...
And we cannot simply transfer that to some Public Option of the proposed Universal Health Care initiatives in Congress now or in the future...

We do not need nor can we as Americans afford the entitlement programs we have or any other additional ones; we need to get back to the tenets this country was founded on; small-limited government, and self-reliance.

These Socialist Entitlement programs are in fact unsustainable, as has been proved every where they have been implemented in the World and in this country.

What we need is less government in our lives; and when it comes to health care, IF Competition is allowed where consumers can buy health insurance from anybody they like, in any state; unlike now, that competition would dramatically drive the cost down and make it affordable. Ever look at the cost of COBRA? nobody unemployed can afford it...

Additionally, Congress could stipulate that Insurance companies can not continue to redefine what a pre-existing condition is; and must offer coverage regardless of pre-existing conditions;
and just like with vehicle insurance; if you are healthy you should get a discount, and if you are not you have to pay extra; just like with vehicle insurance when you have no accidents or tickets you get a better rate, than if you don't; but either way you can get coverage that you as an individual pay for; most states mandate vehicle insurance; but do not provide it at your neighbors expense if the individual can not afford it; the same has to be true for health care; Congress can not simply mandate health insurance at the cost of others, when somebody cannot or will not buy insurance.

Congress needs to get out of the way and let the free-market handle it, Congress needs to facilitate free market health insurance competition between states and not mandate any kind of coverage or entitlements; at the expense of others...

We are not asking for a handout, we are asking for Open Free-Market Health-Care Competition, and an end to existing entitlement programs, and no more in the future; and an end and stop to this Socialist Administrations' Generational Debt.
