    2. You could get paid more at work as health care expenses go up the companies shift cost to the workers or cut back in other ways. If the bill will control cost your employer will be able to give you some more money.

    3. Peace of mind. Say you have health insurance now, your healthy and have a great job. But say something happens to you and you debvelop a medical condition and for some reason have to change jobs or become self employed. You might or will be denyed coverage.

    4. Emergency Room waits would be shorter because your uninsured use these doctors for their primary care doctors which makes the people who have insurance thats their have to wait longer.

    5. Small business will benefit due to reform creating subsidies to help them pay for insurance for their employees. This would also boost the economy.

    6. Plan will not add to the federal deficit says chairman of the senate finance committee

Folks the time for health care reform has come. Whether you agree with Barack Obama or the GOP lets work together to come up with a plan. The USA is ranked 37th in the world by the world health organization. We should be #1. This is America please put the petty politics aside and lets be positive and due something that will benefit this great nation. 46 million people are uninsured we must do something about this.

What a great week. Health care reform has passed. Just wanted to remind everyone about that. Hey something we might be able to agree on is the executive order obama signed into law today that prevents federal funding of abortion. THats awesome. I'm thankful our conservative democratic friends have stood strong on this issue of abortion. I am in total agreement with them.

I guess the congressman who yelled baby killer feels real genius now. Typical republican. Can't keep their little petty outbursts to theirself. They have to go and make a fool of them and their party.

One message for the GOP in 2012. OBAMA WINS AGAIN>Mark MY WORDS

You're in total agreement with the Dems, but not with the majority of the American people. And who stood strong on abortion? Stupak was bought off with an executive order that will be dropped at Obama's whim. You heard it here, but you'll see it for yourself soon. The left will continue their murder of the unborn as usual, with the government's grace and financial support - remember that this bill isn't finished yet. The conservative Dems were bought off with many offers, and I hope that they get what's coming to them - literally!

And you're looking too far ahead. The Dems will lose big-time in November of this year, and Obama will be history by 2012. Mark MY words!

These Dem leaders have pushed people into a corner and people will fight back. Look at the amount of cash the GOP has raised in just 24 hours to fire pelosi. obama will go down in history alright... But not in a flattering manner.

Isn't the World Health Care Organization a part of or sponsored by the United Nations? I don't know the answer to that one myself but would love to get feedback. If it is part of the U.N., can someone please tell me something they do efficiently besides supply distribution? Glen Beck had a great example. Imagine a casino, where everyone wins all of the time. If you go in and play, you win. If you don't gamble, it doesn't matter, come by, and they will give you money. The house never wins. This is somewhat an analogy for the current healthcare bill. It is based on phony accounting. It will bankrupt the country and it will have to be supported by increased taxes. I predict a National Sales Tax added onto the current tax burden to help pay for this monstrosity if the bill is not overturned in the courts. Free stuff from the government is not free, efficient, or logical.

The politicians in D.C. - all of them - have voted themselves a gold mine in health care, retirement and perks, not to mention the $$ they get under the table from special interests and lobbyists. If you think for one minute they're going to put themselves on the same level as us slav...er...peons...er...middle class proles, you are mistaken. Once bitten by Washington mega-bucks, none of them will care to participate in our little hovel.

Would you care to make a wager that NONE of the 6 things you listed will EVER be found out to have happened.

    1. Insurance premiums will NOT go down! They will infact GO UP; at least until the US government forces all insurance companies to become "public" utilities. When this happens your premiums will disappear all together. You will get a monthly "insurance" utilty bill; from a company you really have little to NO choice in selecting.

    2. You will NOT get paid more at work! In fact as a small business owner, my hiring will STOP immediately; and I will be looking at the possibilty of letting less vital employees go because I will have to pay MORE for my employees "mandated" health insurance.

    3. You will have NO peace of mind if you are an elderly person with a choronic, incurable illness. A government agency will have to decide IF my life benefits society enough to warrent treatment.

    4. Emergency rooms will be MORE crowded and LESS effective! With the vast exodus of phycisians from the medical field that will be sure to happen AND the vast increase in people seeking help, you can't be serious!

    5. Small Business will NOT benefit at all! In truth starting and/or maintaining ANY business will be made more costly AND more difficult. Mandated "heathcare" coverage will IN FACT cost THOUSANDS of jobs and cause MANY businesses to go under!

    6. The plan will GREATLY add to the "State" and Federal deficits. To think otherwise is extremely naive, utterly STUPID and/or shows a fantastic ineptitude of "basic" economics.

JW this political party you are so proud of was going to end poverty in the 60's with the Great Society. We have redistributed over a trillion dollars science then. Poverty seems to thrive. If you and your buddies are so concerned about the uninsured why don't you dig into your pocket and help them. Don't force the rest of us to join if we don't want to.
