In Idaho I always conceal carry my Hi-Country bow. I know the locals may be alarmed by the sight of my weapon and I want the element of surprise on my side.

I would want the 44 for Wolves or Bears, just in case you become the Prey!

In Pennsylvania you need a handgun hunting permit to hunt with a handgun. But you can carry your CCW with your permit while bow hunting.

In the state of Texas, you are allowed to carry a concealed handgun during archery only season if you have a concealed handgun license, and regular gun season is open to anyone with a hunting license to carry a handgun with them while hunting.
