    S&w model 60 wont stay cocked

    Hi guys. I just put a reduced power hammer and rebound spring in my j frame model 60. Now the hammer won't lock back when I pull back the hammer. It worked fine before. Any ideas?

    New hammer spring was too long. I put the old one back in and it worked fine
