How to Escape from Zip Ties

There are quite a few hasty methods of illegal restraint, and zip ties are a method thatís available to any would-be kidnapper.

A few of the other methods seen are duct tape, rope and phone cord, but with a little education youíll see that all of these methods can easily be defeated.

There are two things youíll need in any escape situation, and without these two things, nothing weíll show you will work.

Those two things are time and opportunity. Youíll have to first have the time to be able to put one of these escape methods into action and the opportunity to do so.

Your captors are most likely not going to have the resources or the patience to keep eyes on you constantly, and when they donít, itís time to make your move.

Well done OpSpec.... you provide a useful idea for people and you provide the link. Thanks for sharing.

I would add that not getting bound up in the first place is the most beneficial thing since most of the people on these forums are gun owners, this would mean the kidnapper would most likely have our firearm as well.

now, that's interesting!! I would have never imagined this to be soooooo easy, (although, as indicated in the videos, it hurts some and WILL leave marks!)...

    thanks for this one!

there are things, tho, that can be done to you, to make you unable to do diddly, for hours if not days, yet leave you able to walk, or certainly to live. those things take mere seconds. So if your captor does not know to do them, that is a positive sign for you.
