    To answer your question: when concealed carry was first being drafted, the only way it could get support was to allow people to add their limitations if they would vote for CC. It's taking years, but Texas is slowing reversing all these stipulations one at a time.

    It's been the same way over here in South Carolina. When the concealed carry act originally passed, it was not legal to carry aboard any form of public transportation. So if your car broke down and you had to take the bus home, legally you had to leave your sidearm in your inopperative vehicle. That has since been changed.
