I light of where the oil prices are today I thought a review of the following article from last September was in order.

$200 Dollar a Barrel Oil Is Bilderberg Plan To Destroy Middle Class

During the conference, Henry Kissinger told his fellow attendees that the elite had resolved to ensure that oil prices would double over the course of the next 12-24 months, which is exactly what has happened.

During their 2006 meeting in Ottawa Canada, Bilderberg agreed to push for $105 a barrel before the end of 2008. This information was gleaned from sources inside Bilderberg who have proven reliable in the past.
Well it is there and then some. Read the rest of the article. If it does not make your blood boil I don't know what will.

The article doesn't reference any articles that aren't on the Alex Jones site, which themselves do not list any outside sources. A completely subjective story with unnamed sources is hardly a balanced viewpoint.

A conspiracy to destroy the middle class would be pointless, as a stable middle class is what largely maintains social stability and enables the Bilderbergers to maintain their current level of power. They actually have more to lose from an extreme economic polarization than we do. Unless they're malicious space aliens, this doesn't make any sense.

Additionally, it would likely be unsuccessful. They should be well aware that as oil becomes too expensive, it will simply become obsolete. That's what capitalism does.

Tell that to the Carl Marx, Lennon, Stalin, Mao and all the communist countries of the world who took their cue from Plato's republic. He set forth the idea of a a society with three classes of people. Ruling class, military, and surfs.

for articles on their agenda from our main stream press you will waiting until your are in chains. Again I will give the following quotes. You can believe them of believe that we live in a neat little tidy world where everything is just as Bib brother wants you to believe. that choice is up to you. but the fact remains that there has been powerful men working for a long time to be able to control the nations of the world. Richard Salant, former president, CBS News

"We live in a dirty and dangerous world. There are some things the general public does not need to know and shouldn't. I believe democracy flourishes when the government can take legitimate steps to keep its secrets, and when the press can decide whether to print what it knows."
Katherine Graham, Washington Post publisher and CFR member.

"The world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes."
Benjamin Disraeli, first Prime Minister of England, in a novel he published in 1844 called Coningsby, the New Generation

"There is no such thing as an independent press in America, unless it is in the country towns. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print.

"I am paid $150.00 a week for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for doing similar things. If I should permit honest opinions to be printed in one issue of my paper, like Othello, before twenty-four hours, my occupation would be gone.

"The business of the New York journalist is to destroy truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify, to fawn at the feet of Mammon; to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. We are the tools and vessels for rich men behind the scenes. We are intellectual prostitutes."

John Swinton, editor of the New York Tribune

"We are going to impose our agenda on the coverage by dealing with issues and subjects that we choose to deal with."
Richard M. Cohen, Senior Producer of CBS political news.

"Fifty men have run America, and that's a high figure." Joseph Kennedy, father of JFK, in the July 26th, l936 issue of The New York Times.

There does exist and has existed for a generation, an international . . . network which operates, to some extent, in the way the radical right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups and frequently does so. I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960s, to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and to many of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies . . . but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known."
Professor Carroll Quigley, in his book Tragedy and Hope, 1966. (Bill Clinton's mentor)

"We in the press like to say we're honest brokers of information and it's just not true. The press does have an agenda."
Bernard Goldberg, as quoted by Harry Stein in the June 13-19, 1992 TV Guide

"The real menace of our republic is this invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy length over city, state and nation. Like the octopus of real life, it operates under cover of a self created screen....At the head of this octopus are the Rockefeller Standard Oil interests and a small group of powerful banking houses generally referred to as international bankers. The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both political parties."
New York City Mayor John F. Hylan, 1922

We need a program of psychosurgery for political control of our society. The purpose is physical control of the mind. Everyone who deviates from the given norm can be surgically mutilated. The individual may think that the most important reality is his own existence, but this is only his personal point of view. . . Man does not have the right to develop his own mind. . . . We must electronically control the brain. Someday armies and generals will be controlled by electronic stimulation of the brain."
Dr. Jose M.R. Delgado, Director of Neuropsychiatry, Yale University Medical School, Congressional Record, No. 26, Vol. 118, February 24, 1974.

One of the least understood strategies of the world revolution now moving rapidly toward its goal is the use of mind control as a major means of obtaining the consent of the people who will be subjects of the New World Order."
From The National Educator, K.M. Heaton

"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of "liberalism" they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." Norman Thomas, for many years U.S. Socialist Presidential candidate.

We live in a dirty and dangerous world. There are some things the general public does not need to know and shouldn't. I believe democracy flourishes when the government can take legitimate steps to keep its secrets, and when the press can decide whether to print what it knows."
-- Katherine Graham, Washington Post publisher and Bilderberg

"We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries."
David Rockefeller, Baden-Baden, Germany 1991What, you mean they will not tell us the truth?

Again, how would the collapse of our economy benefit the Bilderburgers? I think you're taking two unrelated boogeymen and linking them.

By definition, those powerful people already control the world. They don't have to work at it. They already control everything worth controlling, and have for a great long while. If they didn't want a middle class, it never would have existed to begin with.

People who hold power and attend meetings together are not monolithic. These theories about a top-down conspiracy (which are rarely successful or efficient anyway) tend to obscure the more likely scenario based on human nature of a disaster/disorder of some sort, which leads to domestic military deployment, and perceived inaction on the part of the civilian government leads to popular support for a military dictatorship. This has happened repeatedly throughout history, but generally has not been caused by the people that everyone thought were the boogeymen.

Look at Rome, for example. The patricians (wealthy, well-educated landowners) started out with an elitist, but effective democracy. In the end, it was the masses that put the army in charge and supported emperors from the lower classes who had come from the military. The elite patricians lost most of their power. The Bilderburg group does not want an autocracy. Some of them would probably end up getting done in by a firing squad, and their power would be greatly diminished.

Because they want to level the playing field. Bring us down to the level of the rest of the world.

"...all of us here at the policy-making level have had experience with directives...from the White House.... The substance of them is that we shall use our grant-making power so as to alter our life in the United States that we can be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union."
H. Rowan Gaither, Jr., President - Ford Foundation (as told to Norman Dodd, Congressional Reese Commission 1954

The right Major crisis. When the economy of our country is in the worse shape it has every been in, when people have their welfare checks cut off and you can't make enough money to live on, the only major hold out, the only country really standing in the way of their plans will be ready to accept the final move toward world government.

You may have heard the quote: "Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely".

It is true. Destruction of the middle classes is essential to absolute control of the population in the NEW WORLD ORDER. If the people are so broke they can't even pay attention then you can control them with food and little else.

Somalia is a prime example of a once prosperous country that is controlled by food and poverty by a handful of Jerks with money and power. NO ONE DARES CHALLENGE THEM.

Dafur is another example of a broken people controlled by hunger and the absolute destruction of it's middle class of technical and skilled workers.

Look at Rwanda...Again the rich and powerful few control the rest but only after breaking the backs of the middle class.

Pull your head out of the sand and look around. We allowed this to happen.
"All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing."
This way the Rich Elites can live in the perfect Utopia without worrying about us Morlocks eating a few of them.

I respectfully request that you rethink your views about the middle class and act by voting to rid the world of power hungry knuckleheads. If we vote correctly at the ballot box, We will not have to vote from the rooftops to get rid of some petty dictator.

Sure...power does corrupt to varying extents, but it doesn't make intelligent people stupid.

Destroying the economy of the entire industrialized world would seem to be, at best, a pyrrhic victory for the wealthy and powerful. The vast majority of the food, goods and services that they use come from the same sources that ours do. Slaves don't make very good surgeons, soldiers, or anything else that they would need to effectively maintain power...so unless they're planning on using robots for nearly everything that requires any training, this seems entirely impractical.

Contrary to popular image, these people are actually more accessible than they're often made out to be if you know where to be and who to look for. I would suggest meeting some, talking to them and forming your own opinions of their intentions before rushing to judgment. Give them the same fair chance that you would like someone to give you, if you were in a position of making decisions.

My voting priorities are people who will minimize wasteful spending, remove us from Iraq quickly and in a way that at least saves face, protect our civil rights, such as 2A and the rights of the unborn, and turn back a substantial portion of USPA.

McCain rarely, if ever, approves any earmarks for his home state of Arizona. He has consistently voted in favor of the rights of the unborn, and (except for once, with gun show bg checks) for 2A. IMO, getting out of Iraq is almost a given for the next President, as we can't much longer bear the expense.

I agree that Mac is the best choice still in the race. Withdrawal from Iraq will only happen when the people there can handle things themselves. (could be next year...could be ten years)

Energy is a challenge, but an even greater and more costly challenge is Illegal Immigration. We spend more every year on illegals than we do on the War Effort in Iraq...but you don't see that being brought up in front of congress. I say vote out as many knuckleheads as possible and start over.

The truth is, they're never going to be able to handle it themselves without engaging in barbarism. The Middle East is a rough place, and the only way to rule there is to be an iron-fisted warlord. Pretty much the only way to do it is to order people around at gunpoint. They know this, but we don't seem to get it.

I don't know about that...energy affects all 350 million of us - not only our travel, but the travel of our goods, and even people not in-country, like troops, diplomats, etc. We're still paying for their gas. That's a constant, never-ending thing. The mail never stops, Walmart trucks never stop, airlines never stop, etc.

Illegals are breaking the law and certainly take advantage of our system, but they're not doing any worse than your average welfare leeches. Many aren't contributing anything back, but there are exceptions. The ones that have actual jobs actually pay income taxes, and all the property taxes and fees that go along with normal life. Either way, those welfare checks are at least going somewhere, even if it's straight towards cheap liquor and cigarettes. That money is still working in the economy.

From a strictly fiscal standpoint, the energy thing is what's going to wreck us if we don't get a handle on it. Bums we can handle, but not being able to move around is a serious problem.

The only way we can get a handle on the situation is to braek the backs of OPEC nations. Stop Splash and dash tankers from taking subsidized dollars for ethanol over seas and force big oil to pick up the tab for R&D of alternative energies from a third party perspective so they cannot hobble the system to increase profits.

As for illegal aliens, They are far worse than welfare mooches who were born here. They take American jobs at much lower pay and little or no benifits often using stolen SSN's to get around the IRS and taxes. They often drive without proper licenses and little or no insurance. Hospitals in CA are full of people who can't pay, making our health care insurance more expensive and placing a huge strain on the medical community.

As for welfare checks I propose the following...I had to take a P-Test to make the money...They should have to take a mandatory urine test to spend it.

Big Oil is entitled to its profits. They made infrastructure and exploration investments years ago, and are now reaping the benefits. Exxon, Shell and BP earned their money by doing their homework and charging what the market will support. We should not dictate their R&D policies; in addition to being meddling, that also sends the wrong message, that doing the groundwork but then reaping profits will result in those profits being stolen.

If you don't like paying for that oil, there are affordable electric cars coming in months. Here's the Aptera, which gets up to 90 mph with a 120 mile range just on electric. Running hybrid, it gets 130 mpg. It's a two-seater and has a small trunk. The price tag is supposed to be around $30k, which is comparable to a regular car.

That's a true SHTF car - with 10 gallons of fuel and a full charge, you could make it 75% of the way across the country going 55 mph. This thing is similar but smaller, and will only be $20k, which is like a new compact car.

Welfare mooches don't do that? Jacksonville is full of people who do all those things and more. There's even a specific term, which I can't repeat here, for people who hit another car and then drive off because they have warrants out, or no insurance, or no license, etc. Leeches are leeches. Maybe we can just send them all to Mexico and solve both problems at once.
