Carry medical products?

I don't know about any of you guys, but I carry daily two trauma kits. One kit causes trauma(my gun), and one relives trauma(med kit). With todays advances in medical knowledge and technology, you can get a life saving pocket sized kit for a reasonable price. I carry a TMP(Tactical Medical Products)Tac-Pac QC, with quick clot. At the size of a large wallet, and only $33. I think my life is worth the hassle of carrying something else around in my pockets. As they say, when seconds count medical personal are only minutes away.

It is a good idea to carry a good first aid kit and it is also a good idea to get some medical training. Take a class or volunteer to work in an emergency Room.

I was asked in another forum what was in the kit I carried so I will go ahead and post it here as well

The kit I mentioned be for is from Tactical Medical Packs.
(Not products sorry)
I would recommend the one with the Quick Clot it is only 4-5 bucks more. If you never have never herd of QC before, it is a hemostat agent in a sponge to help the blood clot rapidly. It was redesigned recently to be cooler(102deg.) than its predecessor, so If you buy the QC separately make sure it comes in the white package. I have bought mine through Cop Quest on line for $33. It also comes vacuum sealed, but can be opened to consolidate or add to. I have also got the battle pack in my back pack witch is always near me I will list those contents also. The only thing I would put in the Tac-Pac would be a chest seal to prevent a sucking chest would, since that is a likely place to get shot. Other than that it should be more than enough.

That's really a good idea... all I have is a first aid kit in my truck and that wouldn't do squat for a gun shot wound!

Thank God I'm alive!
Honestly, I have never thought about carrying any medical or first aid gear. I've always figured that if I get an injury that results in serious bleeding, I could just stop it with my shirt or some other garment I'm already wearing. Am I the anomaly on this board?
