On December 8, 2022, in Kershaw County, SC, a man broke into the home of Pro Wrestling legend “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan.
The 68-year-old Duggan stated that the man, who was unknown to him, had come over the fence, approached the house, and began beating on the glass doors. Before “Hacksaw” could get to the door, the intruder gained access to the home.
Rather than grabbing his signature 2×4, Mr. Duggan retrieved his .44 caliber pistol and held the man at gunpoint while his wife, Debra, called 911. Duggan stated that the man appeared to be scared and believed that the townspeople were coming to kill him.
The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Department responded and took the intruder into custody.
