MURRAY, UT – A woman’s trip to a Murray fitness center parking lot took a dangerous turn when an attempted carjacking led to shots being fired.
According to KSL News, at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Murray police arrived at the scene after reports of gunfire at the EOS Fitness center, where they found a woman and a man with gunshot wounds.
The woman, in her 20s, was attending to her car when she was confronted by the man, who then attempted to take her vehicle. The confrontation resulted in both individuals getting shot—the woman in the abdomen and the man in the chest. Both were later hospitalized, with the woman in critical condition and the man stable but critically wounded.
