Grandma said, “Baby, you better shoot me because you’re not taking my car!”

Grandma said, "Baby, you better shoot me, because you’re not taking my car!”

A woman who people in the neighborhood refer to as “grandma” beat the crap out of a 15-year-old who tried to take her car in Washington, DC the other day.

The kid probably thought he was going to get an easy score when he walked up to “Grandma,” but he picked the wrong lady. The lady was going to the hospital for chemotherapy when the punk got into her car and demanded her keys. Not only did she not comply, but she also fought back.

After she taught him not to mess with someone he should have shown some respect to, he tried to run off. Her neighbors caught him, and he had to be taken to the hospital for injuries “incurred by [the victim’s] family members.” I think there may have been a little street justice going on before the police arrived.

She said, “He pushed me to the door, and I got up, and I grabbed him and was hitting his ass, and hitting him and fighting him, and I said, ‘you not going to take my car, youngin.””

An armed teenager tried to carjack a grandma in DC on her way to chemotherapy.

Neighbors intervened and beat the hell out of the kid. He left the scene in an ambulance.https://t.co/AmDBiefZDm

“Grandma” reportedly said, “They caught him and I said, ‘Oh, you going to jail today. You definitely going to jail, yes you are.”

He is lucky he wasn’t the one going to the hospital, and I wouldn’t want to be him when he explains to his jail mates how he got his a** beat by a lady everyone calls grandma.

Now, had grandma been carrying a firearm, things might have turned out differently because I suspect she would not have hesitated to shoot him. Last year I had an older lady go through a concealed carry class with a walker, and she did an excellent job. She came in with an “I can do it” attitude and walked out, confident she could use her gun if she needed to. You are never too old or too young to learn.
