At least 16 people are injured, up from 13 from an original report, after a man wearing a gas mask opened fire on a New York Subway station this morning around 8:30 AM. It is unclear if it happened on a train or at the station itself.
It is being reported that 10 of the people injured are being treated for gunshot wounds. Five of the 10 are in stable condition. The other injuries were caused by shrapnel, smoke inhalation, and the panic from people trying to get away from the scene. There were also reports that the NYFD found several undetonated devices.
At this time, the gunman is still at large.
A video posted to Twitter shows someone on the train as it comes to a stop and people rushing to get off.
