Here is another example of a good guy with a gun stopping a bad guy with a gun. Around 2:30 PM this past Tuesday in Syracuse, NY, a man with a loaded handgun threatened multiple people and then fired in their direction.
Another man who was either with the people being threatened or near the scene also had a gun. He also had an elusive New York Pistol Permit. He drew his concealed carry pistol and fired back at the man, striking him in the head.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
While we don’t have many details about what started this altercation, it shows that things can happen anywhere at any time. This incident took place during broad daylight in the middle of the day. Luckily, there was a good guy there that was prepared to defend himself and those around him.
