A husband and wife that were on a date night and also happened to be off-duty police officers were eating at a Raising Cane’s in Louisville, KY. Their date got interrupted by an armed man who walked in and attempted to rob the cashier.
The couple decided that it wouldn’t be happening on their watch and decided to draw their Springfield Armory Hellcats and take action. No shots were fired and the suspect was apprehended outside.
While the two were police officers, there are a few things we can take away from this incident. Greg Lapin of VATA Group and I sat down to breakdown the incident.
