There are three main goals to conceal a firearm effectively: find your concealment sweet spot, get enough grip rotation and grip tuck. We need to know the peaks and valleys of our body to find our concealment sweet spot. Valleys are the best place to conceal a weapon. To keep your guns grip from printing, holsters use a “claw” or “wing” to pivot the grip. A wedge can also help the holster fit better and balance the gun. The keel principle helps stabilize the gun by adding length to the holster and balancing it with a tight belt.
