Working as a convenience store clerk can be a dangerous job, especially when working overnight shifts when most people are sleeping. These stores are often targeted by criminals looking to make a quick score. And that’s is just what happened last Friday morning.
A man walked into a 7-Eleven in San Antonio, TX around 12:30 AM. He demanded money from the clerk and drew a handgun. The clerk, in fear of his own life, drew his handgun and both men fired shots at each other. The suspect was able to flee the scene before the police arrived.
The clerk was not hit but an innocent bystander in the store was grazed by a bullet but he refused medical attention. The clerk told the police that he think he wounded the suspect.
