Jones came to a stop at a traffic light and approached another vehicle behind him, banging on the vehicle window while holding a pistol. The 36-year-old man and his wife were stopped behind the vehicle Jones was threatening and tried to verbally intervene.
Jones then turned his attention to the 36-year-old and started to walk with the weapon in hand towards him. The 36-year-old yelled for Jones to stop, warning that he was also armed. However, Jones continued to approach until he was at a close distance, causing the 36-year-old to open fire in fear for his and his wife’s safety.
