Houston, TX – After bring robbed and pistol whipped once before, a 25 year old Family Dollar employee decided to carry a gun while at work in case it happened again.
And it did.
On March 25, a masked man came into the store with the intent on robbing it. He demanded money and had his hand in his jacket as if he had a gun. Instead of handing over money, the clerk shot the man dead.
Several workers and shoppers were there when it happened and ran to the back of the store.
It is unclear on whether the clerk had a permit to carry a gun or not. In one video, a witness mentioned he had a permit but we have been unable to confirm whether or not he had one.
