Last week, a woman took on four armed criminals in Chicago and won. This week, a man with a CCL went up against three armed thugs that were out on a crime spree in Chicago and came out on top.
Just before six in the morning this past Monday, a 56-year-old man was in his automobile when three teenagers in another vehicle approached.
One of the teens got out of the car, pointed a gun at the would-be victim, and told him to give up his things. There was a fight, and the concealed carry holder started shooting with his legally carried gun. The teens tried to flee in their car but drove through a fence and crashed nearby.
The teenager who was driving got shot in the head, and he was in critical condition when they took him to Mount Sinai Hospital. The police found another teenager a few blocks away who was shot in the shoulder, and they sent him to Stroger Hospital in serious condition. The third teen, who was in the back seat, broke his leg in the crash and was taken to the hospital in fair condition.
Fortunately, the victim did not get injured, and all the crooks got was a trip to the hospital.
It is hard to say how many other robberies this CCL holder prevented because this was one of two groups that were out wreaking havoc early Monday morning. According to cwbchicago.com, there were over seven armed robberies in less than an hour in the same area.
All you have to do is look at Chicago to prove that a good guy or girl with a gun can stop the bad guys.
