A shooting in Ohio’s German Village between two men left one dead and the other injured.
The victim, a 36-year-old with an Ohio concealed carry permit, was approached by the suspect, 32-year-old Marcus George, before midnight.
The suspect then shot the victim, who responded with his CCW and returned fatal fire. Both men were taken to Grants Medical Center.
This is a teaching moment and shows the importance of staying in the fight. Surely it is easier said than done, but had the victim not returned fire, he might not have been able to give a recount of the story.
Also important to note is the time of this occurrence, as situational awareness is vital at this time of the night.
Two handguns were recovered at the scene by police, and charges are not known to have been filed yet.
