People with concealed weapons licenses will no longer face arrest for accidentally letting their guns show.

Gov. Rick Scott on Friday signed a new law (SB 234) decriminalizing such unintended displays. It’s effective immediately.

Those who intentionally openly carry a weapon could still face jail time.

About time a law was passed that serves us and not the criminal. It is a step forward so keep it moving florida =)

If a person has a permit to carry a gun concealed, they should be able to carry it  open. A person who  has an open weapon may detour crime. Most people are not stupid enough to commit a crime if they see someone is armed.
