A school-shooting training drill in Iowa that featured hypothetical gunmen opposed to open borders and infringements on the right to keep and bear arms was canceled after causing a nationwide uproar among gun-rights supporters and border-security advocates.
Word got out about the active shooter drill and people got [understandably] furious. The county has backpedaled and says the DHS grant they got required them to inject “terrorism” into the drill. DHS is trying to back away from that accusation and the state is distancing itself from the situation.
