Joe Rogan, the host of the Joe Rogan Experience, the most popular podcast in the world, talked about how he got his concealed carry permit during episode 1831 with Colion Noir.
“When I got a concealed carry permit, I had to go through an extensive examination, which also involved showing that you’re proficient at shooting.”
Joe Rogan is a gun owner and avid hunter. He’s been on Steven Rinella’s hunting show, The Meat Eater, numerous times. It’s good to see someone with such a huge platform have a gun advocate like Colin Noir. You can listen to the full show anywhere you download podcasts. To watch the full show, you’ll need a Spotify subscription.
The inner-city / gang shootings have to do with poverty. But it has to do with more than poverty.
It has to do with people who are taught that poverty justifies crime — even violent crime. Or at least makes crime understandable.
It has to do with people who are taught that acceptance of gang fighting is “keeping it real” and “being down with the neighborhood” (or whatever is today‘s slang).
It has to do with the widespread sentiment that “trying to act white” is despicable — and some youth probably see obedience to the law as “acting white.”
It has to do with youth joining gangs for protection from other gang members — because the first gang members were not kept in prison.
It has to do with youth joining gangs to have a feeling of family — because some dangerously foolish people since the mid-1960s decided that properly constituted families were not important, as long as mothers got money from the government.
