Kentucky Supreme Court to Hear Student’s Appeal

Graduate student and anesthesia assistant Michael Mitchell was fired from the University of Kentucky in April 2009 after he told University officials he kept his carry gun in his car in a University parking lot.  They responded by terminating him.  He has sued the University over it, had his case dismissed, appealed, and now he’s headed to the state’s Supreme Court.
