Kentucky Supreme Court to Hear Student's Appeal

Graduate student and anesthesia assistant Michael Mitchell was fired from the University of Kentucky in April 2009 after he told University officials he kept his carry gun in his car in a University parking lot.  They responded by terminating him.  He has sued the University over it, had his case dismissed, appealed, and now he’s headed to the state’s Supreme Court.

Those of us in Kentucky are really looking forward to this case going before the KSC. In the first hearing, the judge was not even interested in the facts of the case, She was simply a shill for UK! We’re all really hoping that with the KSC hearing this case this time around that justice will finally be served finally!
