It is almost here, SHOT Show 2023, and all the latest firearm industry has to offer will be there. Like many of you, I have never been to SHOT Show®, and I am amazed at the size and wide range of products there will be. I am not going to lie, it is a little overwhelming trying to figure out where to start.
SHOT Show® is the largest trade show for the hunting, shooting, law enforcement, and gun industry. This trade-only event is jam-packed with the newest innovations in the firearms business. Unfortunately, it is closed to the general public so that industry insiders can have time to network. At the show, leading outdoor retailers and the media can connect with manufacturers and suppliers to explore the newest products and trends for 2023.

The Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show®) is owned and operated by the NSSF®—The Firearm Industry Trade Association.
The adventure begins this coming Monday with a trip to the desert for “Industry Day at the Range.” From the look of videos from previous years, this is like going to Disney World for a gun enthusiast. Better yet, no kids are allowed, just you and all kinds of guns you can get your hands on to shoot. Everything from off-road vehicles to test drive to fully automatic weapons will be there. The best part is that, for once, I do not have to pay for the ammo.

Then, starting Tuesday, over 2,400 exhibitors from all over the world will be spread out over 800,000 square feet of floor space. That is over 18 acres and around 14 miles of aisles to walk down.
There will be way too many products for me to cover, but beginning next Tuesday, I will spotlight some of the neatest things I run across. I will also share with you what it is like to attend the event, and I am sure I will be like a kid in a candy store. If you are going to be at the show with something cool, reach out, and maybe I can try to include it in one of the daily updates.
So, provided there are no more meltdowns like Southwest Airlines had last week, I’ll be talking to you guys and gals in a few days from Vegas.
