A Texas woman had to defend herself last Friday night after a burglar refused to leave. Who knows what would have happened had she not had a gun.
Police were called to a Texas home around 8 PM last Friday. When they arrived on the scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound. The police statement said a man broke into a home, and the female resident ordered him to leave. When he refused, she shot him in self-defense.
The wounded burglar was brought to the hospital and charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault. The local sheriff made the following statement:
“This entire incident is an excellent example of the importance of our 2nd Amendment. I am thankful the homeowner was un-harmed but also thankful the suspect in this episode will now face his consequences through the judicial system; it could have ended a lot worse,” VIA KETK.
