Why this 19-year-old thug with three pending juvenile cases was out on the streets is mind-blowing to me. He should have been locked up, and this incident should have never happened.
A man was sitting in his car with his 11-year-old daughter in a Mcdonald’s parking lot in Chicago, IL, around 5 PM this past Tuesday. A masked man attempted to carjack the victim and started yelling at the man. He then pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots into the victim’s car.
The victim, who had a valid Illinois concealed carry permit, drew his gun and fired back at the suspect. As the suspect ran off, he fired more shots at the victim’s car. The police found him in a nearby parking garage with gunshot wounds to the hand, arm, and foot.
The victim’s car has bullet holes in the passenger-side door, hood, and tire. Luckily, neither the man nor his daughter was hit by the gunfire.
This thug had no regard for human life, shooting into a car with a man and his daughter. What’s more mind-blowing is the fact that the judge set bail to allow him to be back on the streets. He would have to post a $30,000 deposit to be released on house arrest with an electronic ankle monitor. His pending juvenile charges are for carjacking, burglary, and aggravated battery.
