A man entered a second-story window at a residence in Vancouver, WA, on the night of December 15, 2022.
The homeowner shot the suspect after he had entered the home.
Responding police officers arrived to find the subject dead.
The incident is under investigation by the Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit.
We rarely ever know the true intent of someone illegally entering a home. Perhaps it is to steal items of value to sell quickly for drug money, or perhaps it is to hurt, rape, maim, or kill.
