On December 5, 2022, at approximately 9:45 PM, a 23-year-old man entered a Warner Robins, GA restaurant, pistol-whipped a victim inside, and attempted to rob the restaurant. The victim retrieved a handgun and fired on the assailant, who fled.
Warner Robins Police found the suspect suffering from gunshot wounds and transported him to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his wounds.
This incident is still under investigation.
Crime continues to rise, and more Americans purchase firearms to protect themselves and their families. As the odds of becoming a victim of violent crime are increasing, so too is the likelihood of a criminal being stopped by his victim.
