We ran across SHOTLOCK at the Shot Show. They are manufacturing some great home gun storage products. All of their products use a combination with a key to override the lock if the combination is forgotten. The mechanical locks are set up to contain a four digit code. The electronic version allows the user to set anywhere from a four to ten digit code to open the vault.
We think the rifle and shotgun mounts in particular are practical and can be very useful for mounting in a variety of places and will keep your gun from being stolen, accessed by a child and prevent an accidental discharge since the trigger is contained within the vault when stored.
